    The Patriots defense owed Tom Brady a SB after last year. So it all evens out.

      I was taking a train from Boston to Portland Maine on the day of the Philly Pat's Superbowl and the night before I went to a Bruins game and after winning that game against the maple leafs everyone was screaming "number six!!, number six!!" A great Boston sports moment for me, glad we only had to wait a year to get number six!

    • @dionwilson9730
      @dionwilson9730 6 лет назад +13

      That just further proves that there was little to no defense this season because if it were then it would be same ol same ol but it wasn't. A team that averaged 33 points a game was held to 3 and a team that averaged 27 points was held to 13. Men lie, women lie, but numbers don't.

    • @supaseru9736
      @supaseru9736 6 лет назад +9

      He should get some blame for that lost,Though Brady had a record breaking performance but definitely he could have overcome that defense last season.
      1.On the 2nd & 2 Brady had James White Open in the Flat but his eye was on other Receivers which resulted in a sack and a fumble which that really was checkmate.
      2.Brady could've change the play to a run on a 2nd & 2 like even if don't pick it up the Patriots would still have a chance to pick up a first down.

    When the Patriots needed a drive to take the lead. Tom Brady drove them down the field, and set up Sony Michel for the easy touchdown run. True undisputed goat. 6 Super Bowls with 6 game winning drives! Julian Edelman deserved the MVP. He was the only guy that could separate from anybody. • @tommyrosati9326
      @tommyrosati9326 4 года назад

      Well first of all, it's a bit fallacious to look at "game winning drives" this is because all that matters is the total performance in the game. If you play terrible for 3 quarters and play insane in the last and get a "game winning drive" then that doesn't make you better than playing great in the first quarter and playing terrible for the next three. Granted, Brady's performance has been statistically sound in SBs, but you can't get that from looking at game winning drives. For instance, he didn't play that well in super bowl 51. Everyone thinks he was insane that game. What a fallacy.

    Saddens me to see people calling this Super Bowl boring... It was arguably one of the best of the modern era. Just because a game doesn’t have high scoring doesn’t mean it wasn’t good. This game was a defensive masterpiece on both sides. Give Wade Phillips and the Rams Defense lots of credit, they held the pats to 3 points for 3 and a half quarters. Belichick deserves AT LEAST 90% of the credit for this win though. He made a 30+ scoring team look incompetent on offense. Anyone who wants to say that this game cemented Brady as the GOAT clearly didn’t watch the game because he looked HORRIBLE.
    And remember.... Nick Foles is still the last QB to throw a TD in the Super bowl 😂💀

      It wasn't a typical Brady game. He's 41. The faucet won't be on full blast all the time at that age, I don't care who you are.. Sometimes as a star player gets older the rest of the team needs to step up and cover for him. Case in point, Peyton Manning's last ring with the Broncos where he also did very little.
      Remember Tom isn't just a quarterback, he's also the leader of the team. The team rallied around him and Belichick and gave themselves a chance to win, and even though he was nowhere near his best, Tom did do enough to put the team over the top.
      Brady carried them to the Superbowl and had to be carried once he got there. He also had the best performance of any 41 year old to ever start in the Superbowl, so bear that in mind before you hurt yourself.
