This actress is SERVING.
So is your profile picture. ;) Dang, handsome.
Especially at 2:31.
Yep and she’s still acting 🙂 She’s currently in The Boys
She ate
Mallory!
That "sweety pie - sweet pie" segment (starting at 1:35) is absolutely heart-wrenching. The daughter allowing the memory of her father's sexual perversion to resurface... mirroring it to him and then throwing it back in his face. The delivery of just those lines, oh my word!
This would make a gut, wrenching audition monologue
Oh, that sounded so wrong. That "sweety pie, sweet pie" segment (starting at 1:35), I mean. It's atrocious that monster wasn't found out and arrested. At least he didn't "mentally destroy" her like one woman in a clip from Chicago MD -> ruclips.net/video/O5szONCiAH0/видео.html&ab_channel=MDTV
“She was 32…”
I broke down when she did 😢😢😢
Poor Susie, carrying all that pain around for so long and couldn’t take it anymore
This episode is so sad
What sickens me is that this situation still happens IRL. I read about a woman who recently launched a lawsuit against her dad for sexual abuse, precisely because she found out that she had a 10 year old half sister and wanted to get her out of his clutches. She also had a sister who had also endured the same abuse, though I don't think she committed suicide. But the sisters kept the secret for decades and dealt with their trauma in different ways until they found out about the younger sister.
I hope she won
@@orlandobabe
I hope the truth came out.
It's the real life stories that influence these shows. Law and Order always pulls from the headlines.
This exact thing happen to my grandmother. Her and her sisters were sexually abused by their dad until they escaped from home in their early/ late teens. My grandmother got married at 14 to get away. It’s also suspected that he abused one of the boys but he has never confirmed anything. Years later they find out that they have a five year old half sister and that she is living with him. So they come to visit and the little girl runs up to one of the women and sticks her hand in the woman’s crotch. They reported him to the police and managed to have the girl taken away from him. I think he went to jail for a little while before being released on “ compassionate” release because of ill health. A think the girl went to live with the mom or a relative of the mom. She’d be in her late twenties or early thirties now. I hope she’s doing alright and has healed. Thankfully the basturd is dead.
This was so powerful. So sad. I can’t imagine Suzy- feeling all alone, her mind playing things over and over again. When she reached out for help as an adult, she was used and abused again. Her life was a tragedy.
This is more common than you can Imagine my brilliant tortured boss was pregnant at 16 by her father it has destroyed her entire life .. It was difficult working with her because it consumed every waking moment.. Heartbreaking 🤬💔
Yes. And like I had said, at least he didn't "mentally destroy" her like one woman in a clip from Chicago MD -> ruclips.net/video/O5szONCiAH0/видео.html&ab_channel=MDTV
A real father comforts his children, but he just kept trying to defend himself, even when he saw how upset his daughter was. He had no empathy for her or her sisters. That's the mark of a man who has no capacity to love or care. He was just selfish. What's sad is that she cries into his shoulder at the end, despite her hatred of him, because he's all that's there, this man who traumatized her for life. Her sister is dead. This monster is part of her family. That's why child abuse in families is so insidious, because children still love their parents at times, even after the horror. It's so conflicting and confusing that many kids end up damaged forever, unable to recognize what real love is.
I noticed him almost literally trying to push her away as well. Like he felt uncomfortable. Awkward, even.
He's everything toxic parent
Olivia look like she was about to cry she felt the anguish of what she was feeling it was written on her face as clear as day
Personal reasons 😢😮 unfortunately 😞😞
I don't think Olivia saw that coming.
The acting was so much better in the old episodes
The downside was they used the same actors repeatedly.
I'm out here really not looking svu that much after s5
When a scene makes me forget what I am doing, that's outstanding. This right here was brilliant, destructive and more far more emotional than a lot of feature-length dramas. Great acting and a very strong scene. I know it has been said before but this was amazing.

Yea one of thee emotional scenes in Law and Order 😢
Give this actress every award possible... OWNED every word, every syllable in this scene.
Real victims of this kind of abuse NEVER get this kind of closer. 80% of the time these crimes are never reported.
ok i have to call bullshit, 20 percent to 40 MAYBE even 50 percent i can understand, but 80? hell no
@@dylanram4653 but how do you know how many victims there are if a lot of them aren't reported? Sure the same question can go to the person making the original comment but that 80% seems really plausible
@@peternicholls8401 prob 80 percent not reported as its happening, but for some reaaon ppl wait years to tell anyone after its too late to do anythinf about it
But surely its lower then 80, ID say 60 percent max, but thats still a rly high percentage rate
@@dylanram4653 well finally opening up to tell someone years later doesn't always lead to a report like the original person commented but I see your point and how you would be skeptical. Still a very sad thing that happens and I really hope less people get off easy or get away with it entirely.
So sad that she is crying in his arms. She has no one else to grieve to other than her husband. He is a failure of a man and especially as a father. 😢 And Benson not knowing her father and having to bring back that hatred she had for doing what he did to her mother. But also not having a father and wanting one.
Trust fund ?!? Using money as a weapon to shut mouths of criminal/abusive/ deplorable behavior !
That why Susie called it blood money !
I like how his surviving daughter laughed in his face. No amount of money could be worth what they went through.
@@yesterdayitrained ...I can relate and the only thing that is going to fix my situation ( while I hope to God no one has suffered like this) is millions, and millions of dollars ! My infant daughter and I have been absolutely brutalized !! My life has been horrible at the hands of the criminally and clinically insane ! The abuse, manipulation, neglect, lies, deceit, exploitation, extortion, stalking, hacking my cell phones, hacking my internet, mail tampering, and terrorizing me ! All true ! I cannot believe that this has been allowed to happen in the United States !

What a powerful scene.
Indeed
I genuinely got shivers! The acting on this show is incredible.
@James Gray Vestigial feelings of wanting to be loved but instead being abused.
That's exactly how it feels. Wonderfully done scene.
This episode is SO powerful in so many ways.
Truely one of the best performance on this show it was honor to meet her wish we all had a big strong sister. Amazing.
Always my favorite episode by far. Even after recovery...the memories are always there. 13 out of 14 years were served for 5 years of my childhood being stolen...and now he's free and when he got out he immediately sent things to my house.
I'll be living in fear till the day he dies...and when it comes, I'll be defiling his grave just like he defiled me.
I'm very sorry
I'm so sorry that happened to you
Sorry to hear. Get an ro. If he violates it, more jail for the scum. Hate crimes enhances his sentence.
What things did he send to your house?
Every time I see this episode with Laila, I still cry for her. She was so moving and powerful! To date, this is still one of my favorite episodes!
That was one of the episodes that brought me to tears.
Got that right I feel the same way
Man this is a POWERFUL performance.
Years have passed since first aired and many times repeated, and it still breaks one heart.
The thing is for many men and women this is real. This happens. And they too end their lives filled with grief, sadness, loneliness, pain and self blame.
While the rest forget that to just say something, do something.. Could potentially, make a difference.
No wonder Susan had such a long list of crappy boyfriends who used her. 😢
Yeah what her father did to her destroyed her
@@angelaholmes8888 Right. ):
The most painful Law & Order clip to watch. The acting by that lady was brilliant.
Gave me goosebumps all over at the end seeing Liv so saddened and hurt
this is one of the greatest guest acting jobs ive ever seen on SVU.
who is that actress and how do I pay her in awards?
That would be Laila Robins.
She was awesome in that role.
@@Kerorofan1990 OH MY GOD! She was Steve Martin's Wife in Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987).😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
My God ! That has got to be the hardest scene from this series I've ever watched.
He wouldnt even hold her as she was clinging to him… crying over the death of her sister… his other daughter… he held his arms away as she sobbed about everything they lost because of him, their father, who was suppose to love and protect them…
I sort of didn't want him to touch her, though...
What I find most unnerving about this is how the father character talks about it “being in the past” like they’re rehashing a minor difference of opinion on something harmless like sports, and not him having Raped her!
Stop teasing us with these amazing scenes!! 🤪🤣❤
This actress did a phenomenal job
Sadly this happens everyday. Children are completely vulnerable.
You are so right sadly I know this very well
This performance gets me EVERY TIME!
One of the best Law & Order SVU episode without a doubt
Brilliant acting 👏👏
Miss the old SVU cast
Good actress. She is also great in the blacklist.
I miss Capt. Kragen.
I’m sorry but god *daeyum* does that actress need more recognition
Great acting.
Failure as a father, Jesus Christ
Not just that but a failure of a human being.
Failure as a father is not attending school functions, not being financially stable or emotionally mature and available.
Rap-ing and sexually abusing your own daughters is not a “failure as a father”.... it’s EVIL.
@@TheresFuckeryAfoot "Failure" implies making an effort in the first place.
Beyond a failure past the Manhattan harbor almost to Gibraltar
hey, she's grace Mallory from the boys. that's cool.
The actresses is this scene are incredible.
The woman who plays the daughter is a great actress. Powerful
Isn't she Malory in the Boyz?
I really miss when SVU wasn’t about being PC. The stories were dark and personal and they hit you hard. This twist was unexpected too. She actually killed herself. I still enjoy watching it but seasons 1-7 were top tier television
This actress was fantastic .
Oh good someone is actually bothering to upload old clips.
Everytime I see it in reruns.i still feel like I'm watching it occur in real life in front of me instead of actors because the emotions are so real
That man belongs in jail or Hell. Sick men who think because they are his daughters he can uses them the way he loves it.
That was an incredible performance from Lalia Robins, I can't imagine just how difficult it is to play such an emotionally distressing scene so well. Hats off.
Does Raymond know Katarina Rostova is hiding in New York?
This scene always give me chills
did olivia not want to like jump in there at the end and break it up? she's just gonna rest her head on the double sided mirror and sigh while that plays out for another 4 minutes. ://
Yea, the point of that is to break the father into confessing.
@@theprovoloneman281 I actually like olivia benson but my mom does not like her character or any character on this law and order for that matter she watches the original law and order
Hey, it's Katarina from The Blacklist!
You beat me to it!

Doesn't Svu have their own channel?
Yep
SVU has a current channel, but for the last 6 seasons in the trilogy, not the first 6 or 7 seasons, so props for this channel for bringing back the OG seasons it this quality
Yeah. Sadly they only post newer scenes and they aren't particularly exciting :/
Yeah but no one is uploading old clips it’s just the new stuff.
That’s Mallory from The Boys. Even back then she was a great actress
dang she played every character on this series. She's been a disgraced ADA, an incestuous mother, a molested daughter...
To all those whose fathers are abusive - sexually or otherwise - act. My own stepfather was physically and emotionally abusive. After I left home at 15 - the youngest of the three older siblings - I let it go.
Years later, after he passed, I learned from one of my younger half brothers that he continued with the abuse. How does the saying go? Evil happens when good men do nothing.
Just brought me to tears as if I am watching this scene for the first time!!
This one is very touching
I cried- 😭😢😢 this happens irl ya...
The end of this scene reminds me of acting classes where you get paired up to do scenes together, but one actor just goes wayyyy too hard and the other actor basically just gets turned into a prop in a monologue.
What in the name of almighty God would posses a parent to do something like that to their own child?
Ugh... I don't even wanna imagine. Their own child....
Demon possessed and generational curses ,drugs alcohol its a time bomb 💣
@@lovewhitey2027 It has nothing to do with curses or demonic possession, that’s a fucking cop-out.
@@grayhowl8487 I think she was trying to understand what kind of evil would drive someone to do what he did. In my opinion people like that are the Devil themselves
Evil, pure evil is what would compel a parent to abuse their child, the kind of evil even the devil would find distasteful.
This episode is truly heartbreaking sadly predators like him do exist 😢
✌️😎👉 That lady's dad in this episode played a doctor that sexual assaulted Olivete in Law & Order 🇺🇲
Classic drama. Powerful acting. While sitting in the car. Please listen to me. Just one more day in a lifetime. From that point on. Wow.
Mariska is so beautiful.
Yep she definitely is
And then the show got better. Which I think we all greatly appreciated.
Mrs Travis sounds like Laura Linney
That is the actress who later played the woman everyone believed to be Katarína Rostova in the Blacklist. 😊
3:40 what a darvo face gesture
Oof, the "she was thirty-two" bit reminded me of the Broadchurch season 1 finale.
is that Katerina Rostova from The Blacklist?
Mrs Travis is colonel Mallory in the boys
Sweet sweet apple pie
Is that Olivia Benson ?
Yes
No, its my wife

2:49 no sol on accountability and unacknowledged wrongdoing with no contrition.
Good Morning Jazz Musicians
what episode and which season is this from ?
it's under the description
Katarina Rostova walking on the street just like that? How? :V
She should sue for the truat fund amount . In my ending she gets that as well. Use part to help find victim's' recovery, and part to make him pay.
Again I ask, WHY are we not pushing for lobotomies to be legalized to deal with these "people" again?!?!
Because the fascist leftists in power have the same disgusting urges as this animal in human skin.
@@anastasiawortham8833 or maybe because cruel and unusual punishment is unconstitutional

Don't watch the clips so. A lot of people want to see them.
Don’t watch them then
Lots of top notch acting. But not enough evidence would convict him anyways. Because without evidence there is no case. Which means case closed.

It would be nice to have a separate channel for the different shows. As a survivor of sexual abuse/assault it would help prevent triggering for me.
