It’s a clever system but in most cases I will park my car in places with traffic. The traffic will get mad and horn until the automatic parking is completed!!! It is always faster to do it yourself. Also if the parking spot is very narrow the asssitant says risk of collision and does not park the car. You need quite a big space to park the car with the assistant!!
How many cars can do this? All Hyundai , Kia, Genesis models .... but i do admit bmw does it way faster. I rarely use this feature on my Genesis because it can be a bit slower.
@@SDADanCars I’m actually trying to park in between space - “on” the line, so I can back as much as close to the deck so my elder dog can just walk out out of car instead jumping in and out. Have not figured out what the best solutions is 😅. I’ll test it today thank you 🙏
Pretty sure the remote app service such as self parking or remote car start is free for the first 4-5 years. After that, it's annual service fee around $150.
It’s a “COOL” feature but it’s so gimmicky and will be hardly used..getting out the car, while ppl are behind you waiting, logging on to the app, taking the little quiz, summoning the vehicle while walking with it…I mean u definitely can’t do this in a busy public place. It would be cool if the car finds a spot , you get out, log on to the app , quickly take the quiz , press ok and go on about your business and let the car do the rest would be even better
I do this every morning on my iX1 while leaving from my home garage. The reason being That I have to manually shut the garage doors after exiting. So I just open the garage doors and let the car drive itself out, shut the doors and get in the car and drive off. Saves me from hopping in and out again. I know this doesn’t solve bigger problems in the world but it’s nice if you have it. Another thing is when the space is too tight to get out from the driver’s side, there’s your solution. I’m sure that the operation you describe will follow in the future and that will indeed be very cool:)
Had my X3 M Sport for a week now - all this stuff is so pointless and so unnecessary. Why would you want to stand OUTSIDE the car in the pissing rain whilst you bollock about parking the car from your phone......................I just want to get to the supermarket in comfort safety with a decent bit of music in the background.
Don’t agree. Yesterday I couldn’t open my car door to get into my car to leave as a truck and mini bus were so tight against the two doors. I had to climb through my hatch boot to get in!!!! Having the app to move the car forward would have been good. This happens frequently as car parking bays are small and all cars are getting wider. (UK)
Weird comment. You don't buy this car for only this feature, so if you choose this car for other reasons, then it's a nice feature to have in case you may actually need it. There are also lots of other cars that can do this. The new Hyundai Tucson can even do this without needing an app, this one has it built into the key.
Fantastic demo, thank you! Getting my fully loaded X3 delivered soon, glad I took drive/park professional services :)
Try do that in a crowded parking to see it in real circumstances
Just had my X3 and had no idea this was on it 😂
Hehe 😁
Recreating “Tomorrow Never Dies” BMW 750iL movie gimmick. No way would I drive it standing outside of the car.

Does this new x3 look like capybara?
Indeed! Grumpy look and big nostrils!
It really does 😂😂
a damn sexy one though
That's cool. I'd like to try it.

What rims are those?
What I hate about features like this that in many countries they will be crippled due to restricting regulations.
Yes this is sad 😔
What is X3 G45 wading depth?
My XM 2024 doesn’t have these buttons in the app! 😢
This is james bond !
Audi has the same feature…but it never works😂
Maybe you can do a video with the Q8…trying to park it in and out directly from the app.
nice feature? but i`m waiting for Land Cuiser offroad vodeo)
❤❤❤❤
👌
This can be done with x5 too, correct?
Yes. Pretty much every new car comes with it
How about there is no parking space line ?
You can move it and park it between other cars

Is not working well on my Android..

@@Unkkel_Samthanks for this practical, real life example. it makes sense. it's also super useful when coupled with the "remember route" feature!
Fantastic tech. However, i haven't got the balls to try it.
It does take time to trust it but eventually you will. First few times are very, very exciting and make oneself sweat a bit:D.

Cool but unnecessary...

What a POS looking vehicle.
