Your work is all done by sight? That’s extremely impressive ! Most of those long grinds are done by building angle ' jigs and you just did it by that circular hand grinder and Emory cloth! Very impressive!

You are excellent at this. Forge welding with coal takes extra skill, easy to burn the carbon in the steel, I seen some sparks at 5 minute mark. Is that high Nickle tool steel? No carbide tips? That sword is so cool.

The work is very good and a very nice knife has come out of it. What is completely unprofessional, however, is welding with sunglasses and grinding without safety glasses. Protect your eyes otherwise it could end badly.

У меня один только вопрос к мастеру, - знаешь ли ты что означает термин ПЛОСКОСТЬ и чем отличается от линзы??? Поинтересуйся тебе это будет очень полезно. Как для маленькой кузни в богом забытом селе, где нибудь на Кавказе (я сужу по характерным признакам клинка) это изделие может иметь известную популярность, (это очень сильно зависит от клиентуры для кого ты это делаешь) но скажем если ты выставишь его (клинок) на аукцион, ты будешь сильно удивлен.....

текст сам писал, или помогли!? Про сам процесс ковки, не могу ничего сказать, потому что не являюсь кузнецом. Но все что касается металлообработки, тут могу по соревноваться. У меня один только вопрос к мастеру, - знаешь ли ты что означает термин ПЛОСКОСТЬ и чем отличается от линзы??? Поинтересуйся тебе это будет очень полезно. Как для маленькой кузни в богом забытом селе, где нибудь на Кавказе (я сужу по характерным признакам клинка) это изделие может иметь известную популярность, (это очень сильно зависит от клиентуры для кого ты это делаешь) но скажем если ты выставишь его (клинок) на аукцион, ты будешь сильно удивлен.....
