- The Sting is a live album and DVD by the band W.A.S.P. Originally released as a DVD/CD set, it is also available as a CD on its own.
The concert was originally recorded and shown as a live webcast, which happened during the bands Helldorado World Tour. The DVD of the show (and the webcast) is the first live footage of the band to feature Blackies signature microphone stand, dubbed 'Elvis' by band and fans alike.

Awesome band. Love and respect for WASP before, now and always. However, this performance is not nearly as tight as it should be to make a DVD with it. I wish we had a super good live WASP DVD.

To be able to have a backing vocal on tape the drummer needs to play with a click track and he is not using a click track here.

Apart from Blackie being tired vocally, that drummer is absolutely destroying this great tune and this gig musically.. He is on his own planet and he's not in the zone with this band mates. His marching to his own beat literally. Any reasonable musician can hear this. Both Chris and blackie are struggling to pull off their musical/performance phrasing because this guy can't swing his drums or give the space like the original guy did. He may have more chops then the original guy, but he certainly has no feel or understanding of how the two main stars of the band like to feel and phrase their vocals/lead solos.. I doubt he'd be in the band anymore.. I'd put money on it!
