Great Job! You make an excellent video for complicated stuff! Despite this didn't work for me, ultimately windows recovery still couldn't find my hard drive. Same problem I had before that brought me to your video. I suspect it is something to do with the Intel NVME drivers for the hard drive. Despite using your method of putting Lime over ChromeOSFLex, the drives didn't show up. I was eventually able to recover with HP Cloud Recovery, so I'm good. It's possible that method even worked because it was writing over Lime, instead of that funky ChromeOS "take over the whole drive" mount. Gave you a thumbs up anyway, since this video is immaculate, each step is very well explained and I was able to follow it easily. You made a complicated, many step process very easy to follow which takes some talent.

Why bother with installing mint first? Why not just directly download the windows ISO from Flex and use that to create the windows boot? Or use an alt machine with the Windows Media Creation Tool?

There is a much easier way. Insert the Windows CD/DVD and when it gets to the part where you select the drive to install to, but it won’t instal because there is no NTFS partition and no toon to create one, press shift+f10 to start the console and start diskpart as shown. then use diskpart to delete all the partitions. When all the partitions have been deleted close the console window then press the back arrow, then press next. Windows will now be able to create a partition and install.

I think you need to use another system to create Windows bootable USB and then using boot menu, boot into Windows.

Yes it's due to my ignorance. Sorry. Go to disk management. Then right click on your remaining storage and delete and create new volume.

Power off you system and then press and hold the ESC key and then press the power button. Did you do it this way?
No there is boot key left side of laptop just click it from any device like needles it takes you boot page
@Inuyd go to your bios menu and you'll see option for booting from usb drive.
@Inuyd BIOS should still be accessible. You should look up your specific device information.

TP Link drivers can't be installed on ChromeOS, maybe that's why.

Try formatting it with disk partition program.

You can use file recovery software like recuva, or power recovery. But I'm not sure they'll work.
