My version : From another computer, I made a bootable USB with Linux MInt Cinnamon, and I ran it on my chrome os flex computer's. When you are on the "trying" version of linux mint, don't install it. Go on the disk manager, and clear the disk in NTFS format. Then the computer become unusable, cuz there is __nothing__ on. On the computer that woks, create a Windows 11/10 bootable USB, and run it on the unusable computer : You can finnaly downlaod re-windows ! (sorry for my bad English, I am French.) have a good daaay !

Bro, try a software called sd card formatter. And format your usb using this software. You will be able to use your usb pen drive as normal again!
