Great video! Affirms my life choices! JUST got the oscillating multi-tool for Christmas! Use the jig saw ALL the time. Have to get the saws-all out from time to time. I own the multi-meter but you are correct, it scares me.
You're talking power tools, but I'd like to switch gears a bit... What would you recommend for a 'quick access' kit for minor home repairs?... Simply stated a 'go bag' for minor home repairs? What would you include?
Have you checked out our hand tool video? Those 5 tools with the power tools and soon our electrical kit would make the right basic set any home owner needs!
1) big high quality corded SDS hammer drill (where I live houses are made of stone, brick, concrete and metal) 2) big high quality corded angle grinder (for fast cutting of stone, brick, concrete and metal) 3) battery drill (no explanation necessary) 4) battery angle grinder 5" (no explanation necessary) 5) jigsaw - corded or battery, it doesn't matter (if you think circular saw would be more appropriate a) buy one instead b) use handsaws c) call the professionals) The order of these 5 is not important, depends on your skill, budget or time, you can always overpay the professionals and they'll bring all of these every time.
Those are some great recommendations! I think those are definitely getting into the heavier remodel side. We almost lost an eye to an angle grinder one time, that’s a story we should tell!
That is a good point and we think if you are doing a remodel the circ saw is the answer but for basic DIY we think the jig saw might be slower but more versatile! Thanks for keeping us honest!
Sir i m from India I request you something Can you able to give me a drill machine I will be so thankful for your help Please sir Any drill machine you can I will be so thankful for it Thank you sir
We are always looking to sell some of our used tools to upgrade. Happy to make you a big time deal, come to our shop and we will get you set up for a great price!
You are comparing Milwaukee M12 tools and power to everything else on the market. Sure, there are maybe two or three other brands are close to what Milwaukee offers, but we all know that there are more lower quality, low power, low price tool brands that are not even close.
Really great point! M12 is the leader but we have to acknowledge depending on your needs Ryobi and even the dreaded harbor freight might make sense for people. Having any impact driver is probably better than not having one at all. That being said the m12 line is incredible and if you can afford it we highly recommend it.
Im glad I have all those tools.
You must be big time!

I always wondered about the multi-tool! It’s now on my list for next tool to buy!
It’s a big time tool!
List all my tools a few years ago. Thanks for the advice.
Glad to help!

Love the show anyway.
Thanks for the support! Got to hit those holiday sales and crazy Home Depot rebates. You can do it over time just never the time you need them!
You forgot circ saw , more important than a jigsaw.
