I’ve gotta take the M20. I’ve owned all 3 aircraft and have logged hundreds of hours in each, and their all fantastic aircraft. However, the M20 is superior in almost all of the major categories such as speed, range, fuel efficiency, payload, and value. The handling of the SR22 is just slightly better than the Bonanza and M20 but just barely. Finally both the SR22 and M20 are extremely reliable aircraft, but the Bonanza has been around for close to 80 years, and it’s still one of the most popular aircraft among both the new and used market.
That's valuable insight! The Mooney M20 does seem to have a strong position in terms of performance, efficiency, and value. With its long-standing presence in the market, it's clear that the Bonanza holds enduring appeal. Is there a particular flying experience or feature that stands out to you the most in the Mooney M20?
I'm very surprised that the Diamond DA50 RG and the DA40 didn't make the list. Don't get me wrong, the Beechcraft Bonanza G36 is nice, but it's old tech.
The Diamond DA50 RG and DA40 are indeed excellent aircraft, known for their modern design and performance. The Beechcraft Bonanza G36, while a classic, might not have the same advanced features as the Diamond models. What specific features or qualities do you find most impressive in the Diamond DA50 RG and DA40 that you believe would make them strong contenders in this category?
The Piper M350 is indeed a noteworthy aircraft, known for its high performance and advanced avionics. What specific features or aspects of the M350 do you think make it stand out and potentially upstage the other single-engine pistons mentioned?
@@AviationFederation For example, a flight from Scottsdale, Az. To Fresno, CA. Took 2hours and 40 minutes, and it was the same time it took a Lear jet, a Citation, and a Beechjet. We did it with a cabin altitude of ~7000 ft, and an aircraft cruise altitude of 20,000’ in Economy Cruise burning approximately 17 gallons per hour. This airplane has seating for 6, but of course you can’t fill all the seats with passengers and carry enough fuel to go anywhere, but you could load it with 4 adults and have enough fuel to make the trip whereas the others only seat 4 and would likely not carry enough fuel to make the trip. It also has a engine out glide equivalent to about 2.5 miles per 1000’ and it is certified to fly up to and including 25,000’. Engine power with the twin turbo charging is producing 350 HP all the way up to ~20,600’ and can climb from sea level to 25,000 feet in 25 minutes.
Good catch! The Columbia 400 and its subsequent iterations, including the Cessna Corvalis and Cessna TTx, are indeed noteworthy high-performance single-engine piston aircraft. Their sleek design and turbocharged performance make them stand out. Do you have a preference among these, or is there another high-performance single you have in mind?

Love that Mooney M20V Ultra. Wow! Sweeeeeet!
Despite the Sirrus popularity, I love the Bonanza, it would be an absolute dream owning one of that.....❤
Hay. Nice watching your videos. Best regards from Indonesia of the South East Asia

The Beechcraft gets my vote. I like the space and extra seating.
You and me both! Have you had the chance to fly in or pilot the Bonanza G36?

Sorry, you missed the mark. The M350 from Piper will upstage all of these.

Where is the Columbia 400/ Cessna Corvallis/ Cessna TTx ?-- the true winner

@@AviationFederation I prefer the first iteration: Columbia 400
