I have flown extensively in the Cessna Single line. They are all mission specific design if your into the need for business purposes. The C172 and C177 are fun to fly not that expensive to operate but are limited in useful load. The 182, T182 and T182RG are the most efficient overall of the single line. They are as fast point to point for a 2-1/2 to 3 hour as a C210 if you get off the ground first. being limited to 4 people is a drag for some. The C210 Turbo is by far my favorite for its overall performance and expense of operation. I have flown for all types of uses from hauling loads to aerial photography. These are just all around enjoyable aircraft.
I think Cessna should be making a Cardinal for the 21st Century. Imagine a super slick, partial composite construction 177x. You saw it here first.
I totally agree
The Cardinal flopped before it was too take over the 172 spot. Think it would do it again.
It's so much better. Same GPH, constant speed prop, faster, better climb, much better, snappy, solid handling. Better rear seats, better visibility, better looks, etc... Also, a large part of why it flopped was the elevator stall characteristics that were fixed. I think a new version that uses composite and other updated components would boost performance even more, and be very marketable. It's too bad costs are SO HIGH for GA though.
good cassna
Cessna has a rich history of producing a variety of reliable and versatile aircraft. Is there a particular Cessna model that stands out as your favorite?

Great aircraft T206H … greetings from the Netherlands…crew PH-HMS 😉👍
They may be a bit over priced but their good
Only airlines are buying them to prepare pilots at those prices
Cessna aircraft are known for their quality and performance. While pricing can be a consideration, many aviation enthusiasts appreciate the reliability and features that Cessna planes offer. Do you have a favorite Cessna model or any specific features you value in their aircraft?
It's true that certain Cessna models, particularly high-performance and advanced aircraft, are often used for pilot training by airlines and flight schools. The durability and advanced avionics of these planes make them suitable for training purposes. Do you think the high prices might be a deterrent for individual pilots looking to own a Cessna for personal use?
Yes, that may be the case, however you can buy earlier versions of these models for the price a brand-new car. In my younger days we had a 1966 Cessna 206 and a 1973 Cessna 172. As long as they were well maintained they flew like new. @@AviationFederation
❤❤. 0:38 .
I'm curious why the 182 Turbo isn't an RG ? It improves efficiency and airspeed drastically... they should also come standard with Brake upgrades for shorter stopping distances
To much weight and complexity for the small gain in speed not to mentioned the insurance increase.

Spacious is not the word i would ever use regarding a 172. A 182, but never a 172.
And only a fool would try to take off in a 172 with all 4 seats occupied. Unless those seats were used by children.
I like the 182 RG i fly. I don't like the noise. Cessna did a terrible job at noise deadening. I know that the 3 blade propeller is better, but my FBO won't make the conversion.
