- Pamela Dias, the mother of Ajike "AJ" Owens, a mom who was allegedly shot and killed by her neighbor in Ocala, Florida, asked those attending to not let her daughter's death be in vain. "A change must come," she said to those gathered. Addressing Owens, she said: "I love you. I miss you."

As a mother it’s so many different emotions you feel from the time you find out your pregnant 🤰🏽 to the day you give birth, over the years of nurturing and watching that child grow into adulthood, then to see that same child finally become a parent themselves. Even in death EMOTIONS are what we feel for the love ❤️ of our child. I pray not only for AJ but I pray for her mother as she nows try to find the strength to move thru life without her child but to now become the emotional support to her grandchildren. 🙏🏾

I never have been able to accept the death of a child, especially when the death is that of a minor child!!!!!! Nonetheless, the pain is still real, when you have to experience your adult child leaving this earth before you.
