- We took 3 electric dirt bikes out to the desert: a stock Nicot eBeast (first gen), a stock Sur-ron, and a modified sur-ron. The weather was in our favor and we had fun exploring for half the day.

stock configuration continues to shine. We have had so much snow, its really limiting riding options.
Man the light weight of the Sur-rons especially is really cool. I just miss the engine noise. Even though I know it's better because it doesn't disturb wildlife or other people, I just love the sound of motorcycles
totally agree. I've got a variety of gas bikes. Im not sure I'll ever get used to whizz of the electric. The torque is super addicting though

not yet. we've had so much snow that our riding season still hasn't really started (hence the desert video)
Ive been practicing the wheelie on the surron but they just loop out from under me. It's warming up so I'm planning wheelie practice soon on the 890.
What desert is that? Looks like southern California.

@@FeathersOffroad I say if I had to pick just one
tough. if i was doing mostly single track, id go nicot. If i would be riding around town a bit or needed a stealth dirt bike, id go sur-ron.
the Nicot is just really capable in stock form. The sur-ron needs some addons to be good at rough singletrack.
the surron is easy to pack around though, you could easily lay down seats in an SUV size vehicle and put it right in there. The Nicot would need a truck or something large.

That modified surron is running a 16/19 wheel combo and can hit 22 kilowatt with that controller. Also has different suspension.
Not disagreeing too much, but in person you wouldn't call it an ebike any more.
