    Sorry for the late comment, been avoiding all social media for about 3 months in order to improve my mental health, been a bit rough lately but I'm good now, first thing I did was come see what you posted.
    As usual, you never disappoint, excellent upgrade to the OptiFlex! I was eyeing this particular Asetek cooler as well, but never got it cause it's so expensive, but I see it's totally worth it. Speaking of sff coolers, Alphacool has also released an sff 92mm AIO called "Eisbaer LT92 CPU", it's cheaper but is in such high demand, it's impossible to get, I'm waiting for it to be back in stock.
    Very impressive cooling performance though! Seeing as you were thinking of push/pull config, try getting Noctua's Chromax black 92x15mm fans. They're a bit on the expensive side, but I got one and it's a great performer, both quiet and has great airflow considering it's only 15mm thick.
    Very excited for the full system upgrade, hopefully this time I'll be there right as you release the video. Happy New Year!

    • @WiltshireTutorials
      @WiltshireTutorials  3 года назад +1

      Never apologize for trying to take care or improve yourself. Do what's best for you. I hope everything is going good now! I'm flattered that you came to check out what I had.
      The Asetek 645LT was really hard to get ahold of! I didn't read the fine print on the website either. So, when it came in, it didn't include mounting hardware or a fan for the radiator lol. When you take all that into account, it starts getting a little pricey. I wasn't aware of AlphaCool making an SSF 92mm AIO! I may have to buy one and see which one is better. That would make for a good video, I think.
      I was pretty impressed with the 645LT beating out all the previous coolers with just 1 fan! I thought about buying the Noctua Chromax fans. The official Asetek website suggests using them. I may end up putting 2 Arctic F9 fans in the push pull config and then compare them to the Noctua Chromax fans to see if it's worth it for others to do the same. Could help others to save some money with the Arctic fans.
      You're not the only who's excited to see the maxed out OptiFlex! Going all out for it. Trying to secure a 3060 Ti for it! No need to push yourself to see the video right away. Take as much time off of social media as you see fit!
      You have a Happy New Year as well!

      @@WiltshireTutorials Thanks for the encouragement, I am way better now. Between the virus and the overall negativity online, I had to take a break from it all, since I'm currently on paid leave with not much to do, so tech is one of the only things keeping me sane.
      Yeah, all of the reasons you mentioned was why I opted out of getting the 645LT, also expensive and hard to get, at least the LT92 comes with mounting hardware lol (still no fan though). Great idea for the video, I wanted to suggest something like that too, battle of the 92mm AIOs. I'll be surprised if the LT92 wins, seeing it's almost half the price.
      Does the F9 come in 15mm? Will you be able to fit a push/pull config with 25mm thick fans? If so, definitely go with that, as 15mm fans have less airflow and static pressure. Otherwise, push/pull 15mm Noctuas is the way to go, preferably chromax, since the standard poop brown Noctuas are an aesthetic crime.
      3060 ti huh? Great news, can't wait. I'm also refreshing my mini-ITX build from last year, wasn't happy with the temps, so I got a new sff case that fits 90mm rads (hence the 92LT purchase), hopefully this time it'll be both compact and properly water cooled.

    • @WiltshireTutorials
      @WiltshireTutorials  3 года назад

      Mental health is important! I'm glad to hear that you're doing much better now. It does seem like the internet is a toxic waste pit at the moment, huh? I wish I was on paid-leave lol.
      Been trying to get ahold of an LT92 since you first mentioned it. I think it would be a good video to help out the SFF community in deciding between the two.
      The Arctic F9s are 25mm only, unfortunately. I think I could fit it, I just need to change the orientation of the waterpump's tubing. I'm going to try. If I can't get them to fit nicely, I'll buy 5 Chromax fans and swap all the Arctic ones over. That brown colour has been the reason why I've never used Noctua's fans. Now with Chromax fans, that's changing.
      Yup! Gotta go all out for the upgrades on OptiFlex! Plus, having DLSS 2.0 on it would be nice! Send me some photos of your build when you're finished! Would love to see it!

      @@WiltshireTutorials About the LT92, I ordered mine directly from Alphacool's website less than two weeks ago and already got a shipping notice earlier today: imgur.com/a/4eS580Y
      If you try your luck and order it, they might send it as fast as mine, despite the fact that it says 10/12 weeks. Shipping is a bit expensive, but still comes out cheaper than Asetek (at least for me) lol.
      Really looking forward to all the videos, both OptiFlex upgrades, 50k special and hopefully the comparison video. Once my build is done, I would be honored if you check it out!

    a) So glad that you can upgrade the platform and still continue to use that case!
    b) You should clear the "exhaust hole" at the back of the case. Right now a lot of the air going through your radiator is just blocked by the case because the hole is not designed for that fan size. Making a proper size hole will make the cooling even more efficient.
    c) Dude, you need a monitor upgrade like yesterday :D

    • @WiltshireTutorials
      @WiltshireTutorials  3 года назад +1

      Yes! I plan on upgrading it to a more recent platform. The parts are on their way. The exhaust grille is almost large enough for the radiator on the 645LT. I was thinking about making a few more holes and then filing the rounded holes into square ones to match the existing grille cut-outs. I'll look into it a little further. I found the Playstation monitor used and I thought it would be a cool throw-back to have it in the video lol. I have 3x 4K monitors for my daily driver.

    • @WiltshireTutorials
      @WiltshireTutorials  3 года назад +1

      The 7010 DT is a little more difficult to work with, due to its smaller size. Still possible to make it look good! I personally would remove the hard drive and CD drive tray. I would throw in an SSD that you could put double-sided tape on and put it in a better spot. I'd replace the front intake fan to the largest fan you can fit in the front. You could put an AIO in there as well. Maybe something like a 160mm AIO and mount it to the back of the case where the CD drive tray is and drill some exhaust vents on the back side of the case.

      The power limit of the chipset (Q77) inside the 7010DT is 65W. So, this means the fastest CPU you'll be able to use on that motherboard is an i7-3770S. So, yes. The i5-3475S will work as well. You can get a i7-3770S for about $90USD on AliExpress. You may even find it cheaper in used condition locally. Depending on what your budget is for upgrades, you could upgrade your RX550 to something a little faster too. Maybe a 1050Ti Low Profile. You'd see quite the jump in performance with doing so. The 300W PSU would do the trick for powering everything that you're looking to upgrade.
