    Pricing for the Mix has been announced! Pricing will begin at 279,000 RMB (39,000 USD) for models with the 76.5 kWh LFP battery and 299,000 RMB (42,000 USD) for the larger 102-kWh NCM pack. Honestly, more than I expected, but do you think it’s still a good deal at those prices?

    • @kckfen
      @kckfen 3 месяца назад +29

      @Wheelsboy I think, is still a very good deal, looking at how much tech and design has been put into this car. I'm not sure if they will make this a global car and an RHD version. If there is an RHD version, I'm definitely interested in getting one. Very unique, no other car in the market has these features.

      Not a bad price, but the basic trim costs more than a fully loaded Zeekr 7X sitting right next to it in the showroom (or the Li Auto L6 next door). Too special a car I'm afraid to say for the majority of Chinese consumers.

    I love how Chinese car makers aren’t restricted by the uptight, cheapskate suits in the C-suite, and are allowed to experiment and try non-traditional designs and features, that Western manufacturers won’t/can’t. It’s no wonder the US wants a 1000% tariff on Chinese EVs, because they would crush American car companies in only a few years.

      They shouldn’t because…
      Senator Joe Manchin is not an official lobbyist, but as a U.S. Senator from West Virginia, he has close ties to the coal and energy industries, which are crucial to his state. His political actions often align with the interests of these sectors, leading to accusations that he indirectly advocates for their benefit. Manchin has been known to oppose climate legislation that could harm the coal industry, reflecting his commitment to local economic interests. As chair of the Senate Energy Committee, his influence over energy policies is significant, further fueling these perceptions. While he’s not a registered lobbyist, his actions as an elected official often intersect with industry priorities.
      For example, in 2023, Manchin proposed a 100% tariff on Chinese electric vehicles, citing concerns over the growing dominance of Chinese companies in the EV market. This proposal fits into a broader U.S. strategy to reduce reliance on Chinese technology and promote domestic manufacturing, particularly in the high-tech and energy sectors.

    The idea of having a adequate personal space where I could go full on AC and not having to worry about energy consumption is gold. I mean, heck, I'd rather sleep in my own car than some shady motel on a short trip.

    It's not bad. Good even. This vehicle has the door idea I've always wanted to see. Getting in and out in a tight car park or garage test would've been nice to see if it has an advantage over regular doors - the clearance needed compared to sliding doors would probably be a little more. Beyond that it seems like a van-shaped SUV as I am hard-pressed to consider a 5-seater an MPV.

Hoping this will be a hyge success.

    Similar wheelbase as a Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, but 1.5ft shorter in overall length. And Pacifica is 3 row, with stow-n-go red row rear seats. 2nd row seats are easy to remove and can fit 4x8 sheets of plywood in the back.
    Maybe Stelantis can use this Zeekr platform for a full BEV Pacifica.
