@@UnbiasedPep Packers over the years minus multiple Super Bowl wins. Was and is winners. I could be worse. We could’ve been the Cleveland Browns of the league or some team like that. Probably a lot of teams and fans wish they was successful as the Packers organization
The Green Bay Packers on Monday named long-term executive Ed Policy as the organization’s next president and chief executive officer. Policy will succeed Mark Murphy, who has been in the role since 2007. Policy is entering his 13th year with the Packers, and his 7th as chief operating officer. He will be the 11th CEO in team history. Mark Murphy and policy will work together during a transition period until July 2025 when Mark Murphy retires. In a statement, Mark Murphy congratulated Policy, saying that he’s been a “tremendous asset” to the Green Bay Packers organization and has been “greatly instrumental to our success”. He said that policy was heavily involved in the development of Titletown District. In the last 12 NFL seasons with our team, Policy directed the organization’s legal affairs and represented the team at the NFL level, according to the Green Bay Packers. He also led the franchise’s effort to redevelop the Titletown District, a 45-acre mixed-use development of just west of Lambeau Field, and helped spearhead a venture capital partnership with Microsoft, the team said. In a statement, Policy said that he was honored and grateful to become the Packers next CEO, calling it “the absolute best in sports.” While the leadership will change, Policy said that the team’s goals will remain the same: win another Lombardi Trophy and have a positive impact on the community. Policy was selected out of a list of 90 prospects. The search committee interviewed candidates in June before making its recommendation to the team’s board of directors. He will replace Mark Murphy, who led the organization during the transition from quarterbacks Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers. He was also the team’s top official when the Green Bay Packers won Super Bowl 45. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
I think you're totally wrong about being a good idea staying within the organization . They did that during the abysmal '70s & '80s. Then they brought in new blood - Bob Harlen, who turned things around. Even though the Packers are going in the right direction now, by staying with the status quo, things will soon get stale. The Packers need to stay fresh, keep with the inevitable upcoming trends , and stay ahead of the game. I hope Policy will succeed, but I'm not sure the same old same old is the way to go.
Your faith is awesome I can see the spirit behind your motives I’m on my girls phone but you’ve inspired me in a couple ways just said a lil prayer for you stay cool dude
May jeebus bless him and give him the strength to lead the packers to the mothaf*#@kin promised land! All hail Ed Policy! He was brought to us by jeebus himself for one goal. One purpose. The few. The proud. The Marines...
Makes sense, he is no stranger to Packers front office. This was a solid pick.
I hope he goes back to the way Harlan did things...not how Murphy does them. This was the ONE issue I had with how the team has been run...
We need a limit age in congress lol
😂😂😂
And the Presidency
I hope he makes winning an SB a top priority again. Cause losing the NFC championship, being the standard, hasn't been working for me.
Exactly
I couldn't think of a better name for a guy who's going to be running the show lol
I was gonna write the same thing and you beat me to the punch
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Keep hiring within, unless you can go out and find someone to bring more championships.
I love it. Keep in house personal.
He knows the tradition, Green Bay is
The Mecca of The NFL. Well done.
This is a terrible statement. We need to prioritize winning and not just staying relevant. Murphy never did anything to win superbowls.

Great choice. He's related to former 49er's Executive Carmen Policy, so they'll continue to have someone in charge who is close to the game.
The Packers, unlike our politicians, actually have to worry about the bottom line
Well, it's an excellent POLICY to hire from within the organisation.
Maybe the son of one of the biggest 49ers legends, Carmen Policy, can help the Packers get past the 49ers again and get back to the Super Bowl!!
Go Pack Go 💚💛💪🏼 seems like it was well deserved good for him!
Good morning. One day closer to preseason.
Great promotion provides continuity. If he does well we won't have to worry about this again for 17 years 😁 Thanks Luke! GO PACK GO!
Sounds good to me. Go Packers!!
My boy fast with the videos I love it keep it up bro GOPACKGO
Good point on hiring from within

Sounds like a bureaucrat to me
@@stanhry- Except that’s the job!
I thought that was Michael J. Fox ngl

Man, I’m definitely gonna miss Mark Murphy. Such a well spoken man who ran this organization, the right way for a long time.
90 people man that sounds exhausting.

Hopefully, he'll stick to football and not get wrapped up in all the other nonsense
What other nonsense?
Nonsense like making the Packers a financial success? Lol
No idea who he is but i trust hes the right pick🤷♂️
I was hoping it would be Steve Guidelines or Dave Bylaws

Ed Policy sounds like a corny Batman villain from the 60s that got scrapped.

I'll miss mark murphy.
Best of luck to Mister Policy.
he doesn’t have a trust worth face
