The guitarists respect for the original notes is very much appreciated here.
So true
Guys play great. I wish this young people in the future make something as big and as inspiring as made Metallica in early 80ties.
@Derfel Cadarn but Metallica in 1983 creating 'fade to black' wasn't well-known, as far as i remember, they played in bars, gave concerts for small audience.
I think, that money and wealth should not be the main goal for people, for artists, but of course we all need them, to provide comfort living conditions.
Today, i think, artists in youtube get support through selling ads, merch, not only from selling albums.
Podrá ser que las guitarras son tan perfectas que lo que me llama la atención y sobresale es la batería? Sorry for no write in english.
I closed my eyes. I heard Metallica.
It's Rock 'n Roll
Guitar staying true to the original, the singer staying true to the lyrics, even the bass drums stayed true. This is an amazing cover. I am a nobody on the internet. But, I am a huge Metallica fan and have been for almost 30 years. You earned my like!
Concordo com você Carlão 💪
You listed literally everything wrong with this cover as a positive lmfao.
@@mingusmofaz5898 KuntFarrt
@@mingusmofaz5898how are those negatives? They kept it true to the original, that's not necessarily a bad thing.
@@thecrazynodak Because "true to original" has literally zero bearing on quality. In fact, it oftentimes means that it's a tedious, pointless reproduction that adds literally nothing and doesn't reinterpret the song in any sort of interesting way. Why even listen to it then?
The drummer is awesome. He really brought it home, hitting heavy on that bass while maintaining speed.
Rock & Roll, First211!
Definitely better than Lars
Fade to Black is my all time fav Metallica song. It takes a lot to impress me with it. You guys killed it
'Fade to black' -> Background fades to black and so does Audra's hair
That escalated quickly
ruclips.net/video/-wPEtDYga00/видео.html
Oh, the hair faded to black ..
Now I get it!
i'll cry T-T i hope that don't be permanent
Your so late lol
@Jj Moss bruh leave her alone
Jj Moss dude it’s her hair
If you watch several of these kids videos, you’ll come to realize they are incredibly talented. Each musician and her vocals are all top notch! I want to see them in concert.
This is the way to cover a song. Don't over do it. This and many other young groups are the torch bearers for rock music. Respect.
"One" could be the next Metallica Cover!!
Yeah. That riff before "Darkness imprisoning me" would be insane.
We are just one
Or Blackened.... as another homage to the new hair color.
That chick 🐣 looks way better with her normal hair status than the new dyed colour though, what can do
Yup
It is heart-warming to see the younger people keeping this older music alive and killing it too. Excellent!!!
Yes that is very true.
It's the only way that older music can survive...
lol its Metallica not Beethoven
@@Anders-B That's what I was going to say, they're still touring! I mean definitely in the "oldie" category for people born after the 80's but it's not like you have to dig their records from a site in Cairo LOL
They do it so good! Audra sings this oldies so well. Love nothing else matters and sweet child of mine covers they do too
Fade to black is in my top 5 songs of all time and while I will love the original more than any other, this one did not disappoint! It was great and I’m so happy my favorite Metallica song got done so well
LYRICS:
Life, it seems, will fade away
Drifting further every day
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters, no one else
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free
Things not what they used to be
Missing one inside of me
Deathly lost, this can't be real
Cannot stand this hell I feel
Emptiness is filling me
To the point of agony
Growing darkness taking dawn
I was me, but now he's gone
No one but me can save myself, but it's too late
Now I can't think, think why I should even try
Yesterday seems as though it never existed
Death greets me warm, now I will just say goodbye
Goodbye
As an original fan of Metallica. And I still miss Cliff. You have done this song it's due justice. To the guitar player and the rest of the musicians. You nailed this song note for note. To the singer. Thank you for not going over the top on this and putting your own spin on this. This cover hit me where I live. THANK YOU. It actually brought me to tears.

Props to the lead guitar. Closest to Kirk I have ever heard.
I couldnt agree more
Wrong try the band hardwired to kill em all they are the closest
But the sound of the guitar by the chosen model doesn't fit
Oh please. Shut up
Have you heard of scream inc ?
I been a metallica fan since 82. I'm 50 and have to be honest this lead guitarist nailed it. And the vocals are awesome. Fade to black is metallicas best song in my opinion. You guys nailed it. Wtg and keep rocking 😎
The short moment from 4:52 when she lets the sound go out very slowly shows how incredibly soulful she sings. That doesn't happen in the original. Simply wonderful!
True, but that is only because she doesn't have the talent.
@@makersmark5607 she is very talented you just cant say because you dont know anything about music, dont be jealous bruh.
They're all real good but that guitarist is spot on. Excellent.

She's maybe a little too bouncy for the subject matter. Sounds great thought!
Can we just take a moment to appreciate that white telecaster. Gotta love how it magnificently stands out with the black background.
Can we just appreciate the amazing tone he gets with the telecaster??? I never thought I'd hear Metallica on one and it's so good
Just like Jame’s white explorer he likes to use
He has mastered that guitar son!
This was the song that got me hooked to "First to Eleven" back then. Just re-listening to it again today. :)
The guitar playing is spot on. I love that it wasn't "reworked".
Одной гитарной партии в кадре не хватает.....
it was kinda reworked, its not exactly like the original but they did an AMAZING job covering it tho o7

I grew up on Metallica and I've always loved their covers, or any cover that's well done. I love this. You kept it close to the original but made it your own. You are all exceptional musicians and the cohesion of the band is on point. Her voice is amazing and really sets this version apart from the original. Bravo!
WORD!
Those who grew up on NWOBHM realised that Metallica grew up on covers! Fortunately for them, this genre was not well known in their area, so when performing live no-one knew...
So agree with ya.. damn impressive
I dont understand why there not playing there own songs there very good
I think you guys should be on every radio in the world. You all are great at your instruments and the singing. Write your own songs and go kill it. The guitar player could be in any band out there right this second. He's that good!!
they put out original music under Concrete Castles :)
This cover made me smile. I'm a huge Metallica fan and this is a massive song to cover and you guys nailed it. Hearing this with a female singer gave it a new edge which worked so well, amazing voice. Guitar, drums and bass you all did the song respect and showed true skill. This is real talent.
Crawling or In the End for Hybrid Theory's 20th anniversary
Papercut or A Place for my head could be great too

Why aren’t more people talking about the insane lead guitar work in this.... that was awesome! More of the same please
The guy can legit nail any lead...great musicians
The guitar work was solid, but he played the solos basically note for note. This solo isn’t super complicated but does require some skill to play, I just wish he made it his own and the band as a whole took a little more creative license with it
Because it’s not insane? He’s an average player. He could be great one day, but right now he’s just a step above novice. I learned this entire album and master of puppets by ear back in the day. Metallica isn’t that hard to play. You can get to where he is in 1-2 years if you’re dedicated.
Lmao
That was always Metallica's strong point. It takes real balls for any guitarist to try and take on one of their harder pieces. It's not that hard to follow them on bass, or vocally, or especially on drums... but if you're gonna try to nail a heavy guitar Metallica song, you better be ready to bring it.
Hats off to the guitarist- nailed it.
I think Ride the Lighting is one of my most listened to albums of all time. And holy shit… the respect you guys put on this song.
This might be one of the best Metallica covers I’ve ever heard.
And while I’m sure folks have singled out how good every member of the band does here… that bass tone is heavenly. Saying that as a bass player though. 😅
The fact that 3 weeks in a row you guys have released songs where there's no vocals for minutes at a time, especially Fade to Black where it's truly predominately instruments, definitely betrays a massive confidence in yourselves and speaks to the strength of the band imo. When bands have an extremely talented singer who's also a captivating "frontman" and they perform and cover a lot of pop, I think it's way easier for a band to struggle and fall apart when pulling away from that strength and crossing genres (and also possible for lots of fans to be turned off even if the quality is good) but unsurprisingly you guys are amazing here. Metallica was also my first concert, so two songs of theirs is a treat. Thanks!
The guitarist is so full of vibe. It's a delight to watch him play.
Excellent! As a fellow Telecaster player, I like how you've proven those old guitars can metal with the rest.
Outro solo absolutely freaking awesome, very impressive, be proud 👍👍👍
Got to admire vocalists who can play and sing nothing for 2 whole minutes without looking awkward

Love this song. Amazing cover, guys . Thank you. Keep rocking.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... the only thing some of these heavier covers are missing is for the chains to come off of Audra's vocals and just let her belt. As much as I love 90% of how these songs turn out, every time it hits a moment of real raw, emotional vocals you can see her face hit that in the lip sync, but the recording sound so produced, and downplayed, I feel like we haven't really seen what her voice can do, and that's a bummer. I don't know if it's a confidence thing, or a choice being made by whoever does the mixing, but I just really wanna hear what she sound like when she gets to really lean into something.
Still, great work, keep it up... I just hope some day soon we get to see the real power of that voice.
True.
The whole song sounds over produced.

@@fv6027 and you know what has killed originality? People, people that don't support new music and if they do, it must be nowadays music, just like reggaeton and similar, but if there is anyone that create new rock music or classical music for example, the support is basically nothing, yes, you may get some support, but not enough to grow as an artist, so yes, some choose to make covers cause is the only way to play the genre you want and getting support as well, I tell you this as a musician, so please, don't say all those words without having a deep analysis over them.

Hoping for more heavier covers like this one in the future, maybe do one with a girl lead singer: In This Moment, Flyleaf, Evanescence, The Pretty Reckless, etc.... Rock needs more girl led bands so really hope your band heads in that direction.
Stop bullshiting. Rock does not need anything. If artist/band is worth it then people will listen to it.
@@pshybysz you completely missed the point. Yes I guess you can argue rock doesn't "need" anything but if you are actually a real fan and have listened to it for as long as I have (strongly doubt you have) you would agree the ratio of bigger name bands with male lead singers dominate the space as 95%+ of the bands have guy lead singers. It would be nice to have more female led bands as it would bring in more female fans to the genre. In regard to second part, no crap, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be cool if they went more the rock route when they start doing more originals as there are plenty of fans who will get behind female led rock bands. Look at Poppy for example, she gets a lot of fans and they are pushing her on Sirius Octane channel (biggest channel in N. America) as Jose Mangin who is basically the main guy there has 2 daughters and has been advocating the same thing for years, thus trying to push girl led bands into rock. With the said, obviously they need talent, but we are both fans of First To Eleven and agree on the talent part (Especially with their ages in mind) so that point is kind of mute. Hope that clears up any misunderstandings.
spiritbox ;)
@@JohnSmith-fk3fv Okay, let's go with the rock being ~95+ male vocalists being the front man of the band.
Compare Pop vocalists ratio of male:female artists.
Could the same argument be presented that more males are "needed" in the pop scene?
It would be awesome to see more women in metal, but to go as far as to say they are "needed" is a bit of an overstretch.
I have nothing against women in rock/metal, seeing as I'm a huge fan of a multitude of female led bands.
In This Moment, Arch Enemy, Jinjer, Unleash the Archers, Nightwish, Both of Lauren Babic's bands, Diamante, Flyleaf and a few others.
I'm happy to see them have as much success as they do, but to go as far to say they are needed is a bit...unnecessary.
Take into account interests, vocal range, what they are comfortable singing, how they were raised, etc.
If a female gets into rock. All the more power to her, she can fucking rock as hard as she wants. I know plenty of females who are fans of metal, rock and punk.
It takes a lot to be a vocalist in general, let alone someone who can bring the power, alure and strength to sing in rock or metal.
TL;DR: I'd love to see more femal vocalists in rock and metal, but to go as far as to say they are needed is a big leap.
