Is it actually Cliffs bass or just a Rickenbacker because lots of bassists use those because they have great punchy tone. Now if it was an Aria II bass that would be more of "Cliffs bass"

Great job. The studio production sounds different but in a good way. I really like the direction you took this song. James used to double record his voice (not my favourite) but it gave him that haunted sound. I like the vocals on this one a lot, you made it your own, and it sounds awesome 👏

It's because it's a live recording, which hasn't been processed. You can see the same thing happen in old live recordings of 80's rock songs.

This is my personal favourite song by Metallica. I've tried playing it a few times when I've been in guitar stores (I'm considering getting my Dad a Telecaster for his 60th birthday in 2024).
I've commented on a few others already and I just don't know been a Metallica!!! fan from the very first album. i just don't know if this is supposed to be the real deal? this little guy in here is killing it. & these guys are jamming tone for tone these guys are killing it no doubt.
