#FirsttoEleven #Cover #Rock - Видеоклипы
That guitarist is an absolute beast.
That opening riff will never stop giving me chills, no matter who it is performing it.
The fact that people yells age are still rocking old school Metallica gives me hope for the future
yells age? who's named yell? that's an odd name for a person.
@@darkshadowsx5949 Y’all’s not yells
And then we get mass school shooting in America and that makes me reconsider that hope for the future.
Roooooooock!!!!! Uaaaaaaaaarrrghhh!!!! Yeeeeeaaaah!!!! 7:08
Damn straight bro, you can't beat the old school heavey rock
This is a hard song to cover, as for me a die hard Metallica fan, you did an awensome job guys, congratulations! This is perfect.
couldn't agree more, one was the first metal song i ever heard and justice for all was my first album, listening to this I am very happy with it.
I was listening to Metallica ONE before these band members were born, and they freaking nailed it! Amazing.
AGREED!!!! You all did a great job with Fade To Black as well...!!!!
Thanks
perfect? really? set your bar higher my dude.. its an okay cover, but far from perfect. 1. Too much trying to imitate James his voice.. that is already hard to do for a dude. 2. Its a metallica song, a classic, originally played WITHOUT a bassguitar and with 2 guitars. You can hear 2 guitars allright.. where is the 2nd guitarist? Lead isnt played on that bassguitar. 3. because of that, this cover cannot be played live by this band, maybe until the second solo, but it will sound really flat. 4. Talking about these solos.. i have to get back on that after a little more analysing, because i heared something strange, but it could just be me.. not sure yet.
Dude. This band is awesome! This drummer is unbelievable! Props to that guitarist too. Every single note was hit. This was a perfect cover, in my opinion.
Uhhhh he’s good but i dont think he was really doin the double bass.
Agreed!!!
My favorite cover band.
Ты глухой? Каждая нота была взята? Да тут первый же бенд мимо и дольше асё не строит, а там где начинается переменный штрих вобще каша ни одной отчётлмво сыгранной ноты.
I hope she sees this dude....
@@kevinnorris6157 I noticed that too.
This band deserves global attention. Wow their covers are simply amazing
This song still gets to me after learning what the song is about...a man wondered in war and trapped with in his own body unable to move speak or communicate in any form
I am definitely a fan of this group. They all have a lot of talent. Keep doing what you do guys.
Is thrash/speed not dead?;)
The lads playing the instrumental killed it. That was awesome lads 👍
I can't remember anything
Can't tell if this is true or dream
Deep down inside I feel the scream
This terrible silence stops me
Now that the war is through with me
I'm waking up, I cannot see
That there's not much left of me
Nothing is real but pain now
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh, please, God, wake me
Back in the womb, it's much too real
In pumps life that I must feel
But can't look forward to reveal
Look to the time when I'll live
Fed through the tube that sticks in me
Just like a wartime novelty
Tied to machines that make me be
Cut this life off from me
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh, please, God, wake me
Now the world is gone, I'm just one
Oh, God, help me
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh, please, God, help me
Darkness
Imprisoning me
All that I see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body, my holding cell
Landmine
Has taken my sight
Taken my speech
Taken my hearing
Taken my arms
Taken my legs
Taken my soul
Left me with life in hell
Glad you used the correct lyrics "Land mine has taken my sight", I'm sure she is singing "Headline has taken my sight" .....
I never realized how brutal and dark the lyrics were.
Thx
Listen to the original from Metallica... You will realize just how dark those lyrics really are..
This is an ok cover... I just didn't get the same chills down my spine as I did with the original...
Man, all of this is sooo good. Her vocals are great. I like that she did it like her. Also, that drum kit sounds amazing!!
Truly, great sounds all round. Her voice is fantastic and the drums are sexy as frick. Not to mention the guitars!!!
How can you possibly state that?? She's Ms Vocal Fry Vocalist with no punch or drive.
When you sang the lyrics “Darkess imprisoning me….” Literally brought tears to my eyes. I love this song and I love this cover!!! Well done. Fan for life!!!!
You can see how the video production improvement from Fade To Black to this cover. Awesome job guys! And that solo tho...❤🔥❤🔥
Agree the cam looks so much higher res!
love the 21:9
Agree but maybe they are getting to the point of over producing/engineering the audio. They are so clean, maybe too clean. Of course...my opinion but doesn't change the fact that they are fantastic musicians.
No one beats the original
@@shutup3221 True. I just love how "old" Cannibal Corpse used to do it right! 🤟🤟🤟
This was the song that made me learn to play guitar. Absolutely love it.
I have same story. But I start with playing One in Guitar Hero 3, then I switched to Electric guitar \m/
That opening rift is unreal, hypnotic even 😔
Metallica would love this. Side note...it's weird to hear bass in this song. Lol.
What a blistering solo, you're built different Matt. The beginning of that solo was how I learned tapping but I never could play it as well as that...
tbh, it was among the first solo's I learned on guitar. It's a solo that actually sounds more impressive than it is difficult to play.
That said, the mistake most people make is believing something 'easy' means you can play it without being able to actually play if that makes sense? As far as Metallica's main solo's go, I'd say it's probably for beginner-intermediate level.
Do you still play? I had to give up playing after about 15 years because of RSI which sucked lol.
@@Grigeral I'd have to say most of Metallica's songs are in the beginner-intermediate range with the exception of a few requiring more skill. I think what makes a good portion of them harder to learn than what you'd think is because of how long the songs are. Not only do you have to remember what to play and when to play it, but you have to have the stamina to play it too and at least for me it's very easy to get caught in the loop of just jamming and having fun with their songs that I forget to transition into the next part of the song at the correct time. haha
ROCK will prevail.
I was touched when this song came out and I still cry each time I here it. What a perfect, beautiful rendering of this song!
This is the standard of a true cover: faithful to the original, but with its own magic, style, and charm. One of the best covers I've seen online. Outstanding.
KORN-ONE MTV METALLICA Cover
Yeah, I'm setting here teaching a guy Metallica on the guitar. And this is dead on accurate.
@@wolfcreek8638 dude…their cover of Pink Floyd’s ABITW 12&3 was absolutely fuckin epic and it never strayed far from the original either.
This has been my personal criteria for determining whether or not I like a cover. These guys (and gal), halocene, Lauren Babic, Violet Orlandi, et al have met and even exceeded that on just about every one of their covers. I can honestly tell that they put a lot of heart into them all while staying true to the original composition. I applaud each and every one of them for their brilliance.
The best part: These folks are bridging the gap and bringing another generation into one of the greatest periods in modern music history.
Totally Crap everyone like this has no idea the girl is singing has no emotion and no style and the voice is crap too
This song is actually very dark when you consider what it’s actually about, always been one of my favorite songs cause of what it’s about.
Y’all this was excellent. I especially loved Matt’s playing today it really showed what an excellent guitarist you really are.
F211 this ballad help sooth my war torn PTSD. I suffered 24 years of active duty to have last the Hormuz transit and have Iranians challenge a 30 year old ship and three High Value Units. My Battle Ready Captain drive the ship with my info to best defend all. Thank you.
Your music is amazing. For a 40something dude like myself hearing music from when I was a kid played well is refreshing. Gives me hope for youth’s taste in music.
I second this
Words fail me. You guys really went to a whole new level with this one.
Nice pun man haha intentional or not
I didn't even notice the pun until I read your reply. Thanks for pointing it out.
In the intro, I felt like I was listening to the album, except I could actually hear the bass, lol. Great job, all of you!
Nah, the paying is awesome but the tone is totally different. I mean, that esp strat from Kirk really sounds different from a Gibson Les Paul. Nothing bad to say about F211 tho.
Wow. Staying instrumentally true to the original is what it's about. PERFECT! It makes your unique vocal more legit
I have said this before and I will say this again…Audra is the best vocalist of all time. She literally can do any type and style of music. She is the definition of versatile. I love Audra so much! 💕
Only one criticism and that's I would have changed the guitar tone going into the distorted sections to compliment that triplet riff...in my mind is supposed to mimic gun fire in a way.
Audra really went low on this cover! Instrumentation was solid, not even going to mention that solo. Phenomenal work guys
I disagree, I believe this one is too low for her voice
Credit where credit is due. She's trying her best. This one is more about what the band can do I feel. Should've gotten Violet or Lauren to join this one
@@ianthetech1455 I'm fine with them giving the band 2 or 3 songs per year where it's for them to just jam out on while the song is garbage. That's the problem with this song. Audra enunciates super well unlike most rock and especially all metal singers so if the song stinks, it'll show up more than if she just screamed the mostly gibberish lyrics. It was the same problem Violet had with Wonderwall. She killed the song, but the song is absolute garbage so the end result wasn't great.
Audra did a fantastic job. I like that she put her own version on it and didn't try and copy James's voice totally note per note. To me it felt like she captured the spirit of the song and made the vocals about what she wanted to do.
Song needs new bass lines. They silenced Jason's bass on that album. I wonder what Jason would have come up with if he was allowed total creative freedom?
well it is double tracked, so she is overdubbing two different tones in different places, so it sounds fuller. nothing wrong with that
I love this song...great cover and job. Well done
Awsom cover guitar bass and drums on piont refreshing to hear a different vocalist take on this song. Why i love covers
Is there ANY song you guys can NOT cover!?! My ALLTIME favorite Metallica song... & you NAILED it! (AGAIN!) You should all be very proud!
As always, above all praise
These guys kick ass. Some of the best musicians, and not mention Audra, she is the best and keeps getting better. Keep doing your thing guys
Loved the guitar solo 🎸🎸🎸🎸
WOW. What an amazing cover. Audra’s vocal work is always impressive, but the guys also really went to another level on this one. Superb performance by all.
One of my fav Metallic songs
The guitar player is something else, man. I've been playing on and off for 16 years and I know damn well this guy is insanely talented. Clean, crisp, precise playing. Well frickin done. All of you. Just found you guys today, I'm hooked. Great covers!

back to back metallica again my guess for next week is the memory remains (the only Metallica song i know that you haven't covered i dont listen to much Metallica)
One of my favourite Metallica songs. Great job.
Man that guitar work is amazing.
Can just see how much fun they're having playing this. Amazing!!
Are you kidding me?! This is amazing. Props to Sam for the double bass 16th triplets!
I think hes actually doing straight 32nd notes on the kick in the beginning, then switches to the original 16th note triplets for the break down. Interesting switch up he did
@@tracyyochum4360 I think you're right! Even MORE impressive!!
Must be using double bass in the recording because he obviously is NOT in the video.
@@joetennant6723 He's using a double-bass pedal. It's much more common these days. You can see it at 4:31. No one wants to lug around two bass drums! :-)
@@klchu yeah I get it, I use one as well , it just didn't look like he was using one.
This Is one of my favorite songs ever.
Amazing band and lead singer can sing. This band has some amazing talent. Good job
Truly outstanding in every way. As someone that grew up with Metallica, this cover of a such an iconic piece puts you on another level. Fantastic work by fantastic artists.
Ryan’s all time fav band 🙏🏽🤘🏽☝️🙌🏽
My favorite Metallica song. Awesome job.
This guitarist has that Slash vibe. Great band.
well my glasses went flying across the room, top stuff guys
can't even count all the times I've replayed so far. Thank you all so much for the music! Y'all are amazing! 🤘🔥
Ever since I found your channel in 2018, I've been waiting for this cover and it was totally worth it.
Greatest song ever written. By anyone. Ever.
Excellent performance and an incredible job done with the Machine Gun solo.
That was really good, especially rocking out the ending.
Really great job with this, an ambitious choice for a band that many see as vocal forward. This showed off a lot, but I have to say the drums really shined through.
Totally nailed the solo! Matt's shredding was fantastic, and the drums were spot on!
Jason newsted eat your heart out this kid is killing it on the Bass!
When I want to know all the lyrics to songs I love from back in the day, I don't bother looking them up until I look to see if y'all have done a cover of it. You rock _and_ enunciate. It's pretty awesome.
As someone from GenX, I am impressed that this group of young people are so into guitar-driven rock music. This is sadly increasingly rare amongst your generation and I am so glad that you recognize the power and passion of this type of music!
To be fair there are many in the younger generations that appreciate metal. The music genre and it's fans just doesn't get the mainstream coverage they deserves so you don't get the since that people enjoy talent focused music. In my opinion anyway.
@@deathpenguin005 While many younger people enjoy metal, the metal genre is smaller compared to what popular music is today. Spotify is commonly used as the barometer of what people are listening to, and it is overwhelmingly the typical pop music/Top 40 of today. Metal just doesn't register in general. I do have hope, however, because I see a lot of newer bands playing guitar-driven rock.
@@DanielBobke Yes but that's kind of making my point. The genre and fans are underrepresented in the mainstream. I agree the the majority of Spotify listeners are not metal listeners. And the majority of music listeners are not metal listeners but it's more than is represented on media. I don't use Spotify at all anymore. Way more convenient to have it on my phone offline for me personally.
But my point was there are more young people into talent/substance based music then represented in online data.
But clearly the majority of people are radio music listeners.
@@deathpenguin005 Maybe... but that is anecdotal at best. Always hoping for the future.
@@DanielBobke Of course it's an opinion but so is yours. We're just each expressing observational opinions.
really great musicians. I love the vocals, but I am always impressed with how well the music comes together.
Great cover, but it is saw hard to convey Hetfield's raw emotion that comes out in his voice. With how good the cover is, really just makes me appreciate the original more.
yo its completely possible to say if you enjoy the cover or not without comparing it to the original
"Great job, champ but you only made the original sound better"
@@EAK1437 Isn't that sorta the whole point of a cover?
Comment is not wrong. This is great. But her voice has a very emo feel. It works in it's own way. But it's not the desperate emotional growl of being trapped in a dead body that James conveys.
And that's okay.
But don't tell someone they can't compare a cover to the original. Then don't do covers.
@@dasfette they can do what they want. But there’s no need to be rude and comment it.
Gives me chills! What a haunting cover! Absolutely incredible!!🎸
one of the best youtube performances I've seen to date. You guys are awesome!
Holy crap... that was amazing, you guys are really talented. Not easy to pull off Metallica but you made it look easy. 😉👍👍
Without a doubt your best yet. Shows just how haunting Audra's vocals can be~
This Metallica cover is phenomenal! As a huge Metallica fan I can say you all made the boys proud I'm sure! Keep up the great work and hope secretly you will come to Shanghai for a gig or two.
I love it, you kept the emotions in the song not just a band who just learned to play it well but understood why the song matters
Wow, Audra and friends... Finally my favourite Metallica song! This was SUPERB!
Great job. The audio is so crisp! Great production too. Audra’s enunciation is unreal in every song. I’ve never been able to understand lyrics as much. Keep it up!
This is a very difficult task. For everyone in the band. Well done. The double kick passage, (the machine gun) - it sounds great there together with the bass guitar. Thumbs up guys.
In my opinion , the best Metallica song .
Great job on this cover .
Damn !! I feel you guys have reached yet another level. This was clean - and I mean, CLEAN - superbly played and mastered, sleek video format... You're as pro as it gets now, I'm in awe. Didn't realise how low Audra could go, this adds so much to a song like this one !
This was another level of insane 🔥🔥🔥
This Definitely gonna hit 5M+
You guys killed it! Everything from the guitars, drums and vocals. Rock on! 🤙🏻
You thought the vocals matched?
@@jasondonovan1408 They didn't
SOOOO, F***IN COOL,MAN!!!
4:00 love the slight deviation from the original kicks. Sounded so good, I had to check the original to see if I've missed it all these years. Where Lars plays straight 8s throughout the double kick part, hitting it with the 16s, then slowing down to the 8s when syncing with the guitars sounded killer. Kudos to their drummer.
The difference between a great drummer and an over inflated one.
I've heard the original so many times I really was not expecting the bass to be in it
I'd love to hear y'all do an actual live version of some of these songs because this version is so edited and produced it sounds mechanical. The drums sound like a drum machine.
This cover makes you realize just what Gods Metallica members were at their craft even at that young age all those years ago! in case you ever doubted it that is.
Yeah!!! Kick ass cover of Metallicas masterpiece. Awesome job guys!
First to Eleven your hard work paid off. you made a new master piece.
That is one epic tribute to One. And the singer can do heavy metal without throwing out her lungs. Talented!
Amazing cover…
As a Metallica fan since more than 30 years I really find this version absolutely beautiful and can’t but keep coming back again and again to listen/watch….
I’d love to hear your version of “Master of Puppets”: I’m sure it would be again something very special!
Keep it up and Audra, you will go far i know it….just WOW!
She's a great vocalist but I feel like he holds back too much. Dig into it sister. Get your aggression out when you need to. I kinda noticed this with your breaking Benjamin covers. I'll be looking for your cover of "blow me away". Keep at it.
Love the guitar, drum play and the vocals, as usual. :)
One of the best metallica covers I've ever heard ❤️
Very well done guys
Vocals were very popish, band was cool
Man, the drums are tight! Love this song, great cover!
Somehow
She made it work
(with the help of that phenomenal lead guitarist)
This group is AMAZING
Phenomenal work guys
Wow, dude, you shredded that guitar solo, holy crap that was legendary! Skwisgar Skwigelf couldn’t play any better!
Please do the unforgiven cover
always Metalica 🤟
Guitarists and Pianist are on another level with mind/body coordination. I will never understand it.
Fantastic cover of Metallica. Bravo !
I’ve always loved this song, despite the original video kicking off PTSD. This version, however, soothes my soul, I thank you!
I never wrote comments, but now I can't restrain myself. I like them more and more.
Especially when Rock. Thank you guys, you bring pleasure, with your creativity. Thank you.
Drums on beat and a proper bass presence takes this song to eleven 😉
Ficou simplesmente fantástico!! Parabéns pelo ótimo trabalho
