The red accents on the black case really catch your eye
The a168w is by far my favorite watch out of all the watches I’ve had. Just so simplistic and it gets the job done

The Casio Dual Sensor SGW100 is sooooo underrated. I have that watch and love it more than any Casio (including Gshocks) I have owned.
Great features, excellent display, easy to use buttons, great lume/light.
It has a thermometer and compass! It’s only $42 (right now in 2024).
I think I got it on sale a few years ago for $30. An absolute steal!
My father bought his in 1991 before getting deployed in Desert Storm, he had it his whole military career. He gave me it when I joined the U.S. Army in 2010 and he retired in 2011. I'm an Engineer now and still have that thing. It's still running like a champ.

I have the A168 and is my favorite Casio watch, I wear it daily. Also, I prefer the A500 over the A1200, it's more elegant. Good video!
The DW-5600 stems from a version of which I got gifted one in 1981 at christmas. I was 14 years old... It wasn't that large, and besides the exact same "start frame" design there was a stop watch function and a countdown timer. Metal pushers. Fancy.
In 1979 a classmate had a Texas Instruments LED watch on his wrist. He was the only one...

Got my casioak 2 days ago, love the minimal aesthetic and versatility
Started my watch journey thanks to channels like yours! First watch was a f-91w and I absolutely love it! Can barely feel it on my wrist and it’s perfect for everything. Second watch was the Batman duro and it’s beautiful! Just got the steel bracelet Ae1200 and I am a big fan of that as well! Next watch will be something other than Casio tho 😂 love the brand tho!

This year I got my son the A168w for his first watch at 10yo. I was gonna go the F91 but he loves the Illuminator on my G-Shock. Hope he looks back fondly on it someday.

My favorite (and only) Casio is the Casio Duro. I just love it, its beautiful.
The only thing I would change in the Casioak is the digital screen, should be bigger, more engaging

At its $50 price tag something is missing. Brass case, mineral glass? You might as well buy an Integral/Elektronika watch from Belarus, made without changes since the 80s, which is cool I guess.
And if you're wondering yes Belarus watches have incandescent side light. None of the modern LED bullshit. And they often have like a dozen melodies.

They spin up the semiconductor, LCD, module and case manufacturing once every few years and make a fresh batch of parts. 3 years ago oodles of newly manufactured ones were available no problem. Since then i suppose semiconductor production has been diverted in order to make stuff that falls on Ukraine :(
Ironically if you're going to order internationally, you need to get them from the Ukrainian sales subsidiary of Integral as opposed to the head company in Belarus or anywhere else, due to payment processing and mail restrictions.

Edifice and Oceanus are like sub-brands of casio and have many models in them. Its like saying G-Shock is the best watch of casio ever.

The Duro is so beautiful and such a good price and nice durability and 200m waterproof. It looks almost exactly like the Omega Seamaster which is a gorgeously designed watch, that’s why it looks so good.

I've got a Duro, an A168 ('cause the F91-W was too small), a DW-5600 I bought for bike rides, an MTP4500 (to scratch my slide rule bezel itch for half what the Edifice slide rule costs), and an Oceanus a friend gave me 'cause he was thinning out his Casio collection. I think the Tiffany and an ana-digi.

DW 6900 is a classic and imo one of the top models
the A168W was the first watch that got me into actually wearing them, my dad always got me watches as a kid but I never wore em daily until I got that Casio at like 14? I still have it, although the gold is like 50% worn off lmao
The Casio 5058 is an underrated watch. The one with a green silicon band and a stainless steel bezel is my edc watch. Go look it up if you haven’t seen it. Definitely a hidden gem. Not the fanciest, but looks and feels amazing.
AE-1200 aka Casio Royal! Hands down one of my favorites in my collection.

Was not much into watches...bought edifice 6-8 yrs ago just coz of how it looks... recently got into watches...and trust me I just compliment myself for making that decision 8 yrs ago unknowingly... beautiful watch. Used it roughly but still great.

Personally I also like the Lineage Titanium. Titanium RC Solar watch for ~200€. Not big and bulky and thus suitable for professional and free time settings

Edifice rocks I have crashed my bike 3 times used the watch to punch a guy , had a left arm fracture its been 10 yrs bought it in 1

I bought my f-91W from the Commissary for $15 while I was doing time.
It’s amazing how digital watches used to be the ones for rich people and cost thousands, and now they’re just seen as cheap and more for kids. Same I suppose with quartz.

DW5610 for me. It’s my daily beater and it has everything you need. Solar, Radio Controlled, Alarm, Chronograph, Backlight, etc…

the Casio CA53W is so fucking underrated, it looks simplistic, minimalistic and pretty classy while also looking and being utilitarian
The Casio World Timer wasnt really a Hames Bond watch but was nicknamed the "Casio Royale" a play of words to the bond film Casino Royale
Casio makes some tough watches for the real world.
They are pretty durable, and when it comes to technology, you won’t find better value for money than Casio.

-GW-9200 Riseman, my favourite “Master of G”
-GD-350 as my bedtime watch, wakes me up with the vibe in the morning. I hate loud alarms.😊
-Oceanus OCW-T600. Titanium, Sapphire, Solar powered, Multiband 6, Tough Movement, what else do you need?
-My wife rocks the wine red GMW-B5000
-My daughter has a couple of Baby G watches
-My youngest son has Baby G on the way, a mini version of the square with Tough Solar and Multiband 6.
Never had any issues with any of them, apart from changing batteries on the non solar ones.
My GW-9200 is 15 years old and still runs on its first rechargeable battery.
It keeps a perfect charge.

I was today years old to find out what mtp and ltp mean.
The first one is "mens timepiece" and the other is "ladies timepiece". The men ones are usually kinda heavy and are kinda larger in diameter. But it isnt bad if u wear LTP as a dude, the watches are almost similar but only a lil bit smaller and less heavy. Mostoy depends on ones preference.
I got a tiffany for 90 cad a little high but didn't feel like waiting until the price came down. Little did I know I had to pay import fees. Big fat ouch total paid was 110 cad 40 or so bucks overprice. But I do like it alot so not is all bad I guess
