Great Bike internationally competitive and proud to own one.
I consider the negatives mentioned here as minor for the machine you own. I am looking forward to customise a little with a little deeper exhaust note, probably an inch and a half higher handle bar raised and still looking forward for the panniers as shown in the earlier ads.

Try rolling the bike backwards, then while it is rolling step hard on the centre stand arm with most of your body weight and pull it up in one fast motion until the stand is set. It uses the momentum of the bike to lift some of it's own weight and will save your back. I have a bike that weighs about the same, but once it has panniers and top box on it it becomes way heavier and that is the only way to do it unless it is unloaded.

By now it's quite evident that the quality is great. It is RE's flagship bike today. I have seen it the showrooms and the quality is fantastic!
Since you had this bike for 8000 kms what about things like-
    Service costs?
    Parts availability?
    Common consumables costs?
How long will the tyre last since it's heavy and torquey too?
Is it easy to work on the bike by yourself to do general maintenance?
How does the service center treat this bike since it's their top model bike?

Thanks for a detailed review of the Bike. I currently have a 350 CC RE Thunderbird which I have been using now for more than 7 plus years. I am taking the same Red and White Celestial version and cant wait to ride it to work everyday covering over 40kms in a day. The moment I rode my 350 CC RE thunderbird, I was sure to not go back to any of the other models of bikes below this capacity. Now that this was launched earlier in this year, I booked it in April 2023 and getting it delivered by end October 2023.

@@cameronmax Hi Cameron, Thanks, I got the delivery of my Super Meteor on Dussehra last year in October 2023. Since it is a cruiser bike and the height is lesser than the thunderbirds, the rear shock absorbers have to be a bit hard else you will get constantly hit at the bottom on any bad roads or speed brakers. I find the bike quite comfortable though initially I also felt the shock absorbers should have been a bit soft initially. But that is how all cruiser bikes are. All the best for your purchase.

I myself a super meteor 650 owner, have thought the following things would have made the bike more great
    1) Cables and lines routing over the bike could have been much better, for example as the abs switch below the fuel tank on the left side is just lying around and looks ugly.
    2) Rear wheel tyre inflator valve extender should be factory fitted as it is almost impossible for inflating the tyre at the fuel station and even with Xiaomi 1s portable tyre inflator.
    3) The rear brake fluid reservoir and brake lines are close to the engine and personally feel the heat from engine has its effect on the braking.
    4) The brake foot and gear changer foot needs to be more offside (i.e) away from engine casing for better bite/usage.
    5) Paint finish is great but the finishes like rear cap above the rear suspension which are pre available on the other models, even on the hunter makes me feel low and even many places are left for open holes which is not expected from top spec RE.
    6) Many wires on the vehicle are just closed with electric tape which gets removed while the days pass. It would be great if the company use heat shrink tubes for better fit and finish.
    7) Removing the rear wheel for tyre change is not gonna be easy as the exhaust needs to be removed mandatorily.

Im not wondering why RE Philippines never bothered launching it here. This would be absolutely impractical in our real world traffic conditions except for the occasional weekend rides. This is why a Kawasaki Vulcan s 650 here costs just the same as a Honda Rebel 500 because of low sales due the overall heftiness and unwieldiness of 240 kilogram bikes.

The 650 is a bigger bike which commands experience and respect which as a complete beginner you will lack, and it could be intimidating and downright dangerous to ride one, this comes with sheer riding experience. I would say get a 350 or even smaller and complete 50000km on it , on all kinds of riding terrains and situations, that could be a good start to start looking up.
Remember, riding is a life long learning experience and a brand or an engine size is and should not be a factor.
