This channel is part of the International Association of Facial Growth Guidance. A nonprofit organisation which aims to raise awareness of alternative orthodontic methods and ideas, which too few people are informed of.
The main aim of the platform is to precipitate debate on why teeth are crooked. Most people are not aware that (in most cases) the dental profession has little or no idea why the teeth are crooked, or for that matter why children need major surgery. Clearly there are genetic issues, however the science is clear, the weight of quality research papers, in respected peer reviewed journals, show that our modern lifestyle is a more important factor and most importantly we can do something about this.
This is especially important as sleep apnoea, TMD, forward head posture and a most otolaryngology problems are implicated as other symptoms of the same underlying problem.

It has taken over 1 year from finishing the app to getting it out. This has been incredibly frustrating and incurred significant overrun costs and the developer has not created the option for a subscription. We have released it now, and will be taking it off the original developer and transferring this to new developer who will create the subscription service, which will then be much cheaper.
During this transition period we have limited access to the app. Remember I am an orthodontist not an app developer. Please bear with us and if in doubt wait, you don't have to buy it now.
As many people have pointed out this is a full course of videos 54 in total, which take you through the whole process and add far more than I've gone into so far. There are now much cheaper apps should you wish to use them.
So far I'm not made anything from anything that I've done on-line or social media, I've given everything away for free (RUclips etc fees go to the video team) and incured massive personal and financial costs for doing this and bringing this information to you. Please consider some of the cost as a donation to help me raise my game and help so many more people.

It has videos with exercises and tool for making photos of your face. Some videos and tongue exercises I already seen on youtube, but some of them was new to me. I'd say it is a good start, but I hope more content or features will be added later.
PS: be sure to run through body dismorphia test before buying, because if your results are high, you're not advised to use the app (said by Dr.Mew in the intro video)

@@user-rh7zk1ms7s Yeah, it mentions TMJ as well, if you have any jaw joint problems you shouldn't do it as well. The app will ask you to put checkboxes that you confirm not having any of these problems before proceeding.
Other than that it's just explanation of what is mewing.

THE APP IS AMAZING, THE EXERCISES, DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS, AND EVERYTHING ELSE, it’s perfection. I LOVE how there’s a side profile shot thing, where it tells you how to take the shots, and it compares it to shots you take later on so you can see your progress, omg, how precise! This app is revolutionary, it makes me look forward to the future of Orthodontics, Mewing, and hopefully Dr. Mew’s studies becoming known and used by dentists from all over the world!

Awesome! Gonna buy the app. Thank you for your work. Please ignore the people who are bitching about the price. Every Online Course thats worth something starts at 200-300 bucks, so 30 bucks for an app that has everything you need is quite cheap.
£30 to provide a practical and dependable guide to (potentially drastically) improve looks for one's self and family, as well as achieve excellent dental structural health and much better sleep and breathing? And all the immeasurable knock on effects which derive from this? Absolute bargain. If I can sink £30 on 6 pints in the pub I can sink £30 on this.

For everyone complaining about the price, it’s actually a bargain. Think about how much research went into this method, the amount of time and money the mews put into this field, and people have the gull to complain about 30$… give me a break.
Exactly! Not to mention the app is very well made. I've spent 100's of dollars on mouth guards, fillings from grinding, etc. People are willing to spend thousands for braces but not $30 for an app. I guess people don't have their priorities set straight
The app should be free with in-app purchases. I was taken aback when I downloaded it and had to check a box saying I don't have BDD. What if I had it? I'd have payed 30 bucks for nothing

I wish you godspeed with your case. I must say I am baffled that it is even taking place. The results of your treatments should be enough to dispel any doubt about the fact that what you are doing is working. Also, it seems that things are different in the UK. Because in France for instance, it is widely accepted and known that posture is what guides growth (what the correct posture is can sometimes be up for debate: whole tongue up, or just the tip, teeth in contact or slightly apart, etc.). But I've been to numerous dentists, myofunctional therapists, orthodontists for my son, and they all seemed to know about posture, and even had leaflets talking about it. So maybe getting an overview of what is done in other countries could help your case ?
However, those practitioners I've spoken of had none of the effective practices and devices that Orthotropics have.
This app is amazing. It’s only been a day and I can already feel the results. And for only 25 dollars! I will be doing this everyday. Dr. Mew, thank you for your amazing work. You’re a godsend.
A day haha, it takes months for mewing to work even while young, years for when growth plates stop
@@Michael-gi5th i was already mewing for almost 2-4 years before I got the app but I had issues and I think I was mostly doing it incorrectly. What I mean is that in a day I was able to lift the back of my tongue more easily after doing a couple of the exercises on the app.

it's just an option to change the colors in the app from bright color scheme to dark color scheme.
it is useful because:
1) it's a feature that conserve phone's battery
2) it doesn't hurt the eyes of people like me with sensitivity to bright colors
3) It looks cool

My palate is narrow on the right side of my face but wide on the left, it’s asymmetrical. is it because i sleep on the right side of my face ? I mew everyday with focus on putting extra force on the right side of my palate to widen but Im 30 so it probably cant be fixed anymore

I think it would be better to made the app cheaper and add subscription feature to access full content for those who wants to access it, instead of made an app that set price quite a lot.
Don't blame Dr. Mew. If he didn't pursue this job, he would have more money. There is so much work in knowledge. It comes at a cheaper price than braces. If he wanted, he would earn like other orthodontists. He doesn't force it on us. No orthodontist works the free of charge! I may not buy it ( maybe i can buy it , i dont know) but that doesn't mean his path is wrong
What mewing app should I use? There are two out there.
Expensive but doing mewing has changed my life even as a full grown adult. My life is better mewing. Worth the money to support you and your people..
Dude, I bought this app and let me just say that it’s totally worth it. Think about how expensive myofunctional therapy is. With this app I’ve learned so much and even after a day I already felt my tongue becoming stronger.

I’ve heard of this thing called sleepobrace or myobrace which is a plastic aligner with a universal shape that teaches you to mew and is meant to align teeth. Have you seen it and what are your thoughts on it? Do you think it’ll work?
I did have a myobrace and it isn't as effective as an bioblock wich i currently have

I’m 15 nearly 16, and infact that gives you around 10 years to get your dream jawline because anything above 25 it’s hard to change

Keep fighting Mike. I notice that you inhale quite a lot of air before you speak. Doing some authentic Buteyko and switching to breathe lightly through the nose before speaking would definitely help you to cope with the stress of the court case.

As med. masseur i would also use it for presentation purposes and my patients, so a limited abo is not what i need. So its harder for me to spread this knowledge..

I started mewing a few months ago and now my front teeth are crooked. Not thrilled. (No hard mewing and i didn’t push tip of the tongue against font teeth either.)
You might’ve pushed it forward in your sleep, or maybe you didn’t realise you were doing it, because that’s the only reason you could get crooked teeth
