@Witchblood haha!! right! Same here... it's utterly weird but looks friggin' awesome! :D No wonder we can't because there can only be one Riffmeister, and that is this fucking mad-man Jesper!!! FTW!!!
thnx for posting this! everytime i play this by hearing or on feeling,.. i always mess up a part off it because of the vocals interrupting the notes i always mess up,.. So big thnx from Me,. a dutch fan with the same playstyle likes the inspiration i've got from them!
In Flames played in C tuning from the beginning all the way to "Reroute to Remain"(2002). Then they switched to Drop A#, starting at "Soundtrack To Your Escape"(2004). There is only one song before "Reroute to Remain" that is in Drop A#, which is Pinball Map from "Clayman"(2000).
Master Exploder No, it's a special set made specifically for him because he prefers the Dunlop coating. He talks about it in an interview a few years back
Because he prefers the coating that Dunlop makes.....he probably started off using the Elixir strings but now uses the Dunlops. Plus, he wouldn't be buying them. He probably gets them free. Since he is endorsed by Dunlop.
MADDD props to the camera guy that couldn’t comprehend how to show both of them playing together at the same time
interesting how extreme online tabs differ from this
Jespers picking hand looks diabolic in some way, when he plays :D Personal style ftw!

Jesper legend of metal riffs!
You think Jesper wrote this one?
I don't think. It was written by Jeppe and Björn....@@kqh123

Dat tone... Omg...
It's drop A# actually.. Hope it helped
im just gonna go ahead and assume he wants to be a tiger
Jesper's picking hand looks the inspiration to the Come Clarity album cover 😂
Jesper's guitar sounds way better. It is more bright and aggressive at the same time.
still.. you instantly hear the in flame sound when björn plays
still.. you instantly hear the in flame sound when björn plays
Jesper is my idol!!!!
"But I don't remember the album anyway, so..." I laughed :D
Ïs there anyway to get the full version of these lessons anywhere? Metalkult do not seem to be around anymore, or did they change names?
I like the guitar Jesper Strömblad is using :D
Peavey 5150 on most of their recent stuff.
I found this tutorial... very simple
Hehe 😉
how many times has this video been downloaded, re-uploaded, and re-encoded?
Yes.
Bjorn uses a Dual Rectifier i believe
Hell yes!!!🤟🔥🤟
he's like: three, fwo, instead of saying two...I love it
except he's saying 3,4 in swedish.
I need this video in HQ - if someone knowes where to find it - please link it
Sick.
Can we get an reupload with better quality?
i have an explorer just like Jespers. just need the emgs
cool cheers buddy. better get some 12 guage strings?
Björn: so its very simple. haha :)
I asked him when they played a show that's what he said.
8 years later. what did he said
Jesper does that weird picking fingers thing.
JayJapanB k''
Anchoring.
@petersahlgren really? hehe, thx man, ...didnt know that
what key do in flames play in, is it half step down?
C... that's actually two full steps down. In some songs they drop the C sting one further step down for a drop tuning.
C standard. And in some songs they have C standard but the lowest string is tuned down to A#
In Flames played in C tuning from the beginning all the way to "Reroute to Remain"(2002). Then they switched to Drop A#, starting at "Soundtrack To Your Escape"(2004). There is only one song before "Reroute to Remain" that is in Drop A#, which is Pinball Map from "Clayman"(2000).
Ordinary Story from Colony is also in Drop A# Can't forget about that amazing song.
In this song, Drop A#/Drop Bb.
tigers are my favorite animal, and sleeve tattoos are awesome, but they dont really mix...
I don't remember how it is on the album anyways
4:12
Mesa Boogie Rectifier?
Mac Messer h.
they used a lot of 5150s back then too
Dunlop 9's
pretty sure its actually 8-39, maybe smaller.
James Tonkinson totally using 4-22's, maybe smaller
I think it's 2-16s and tuned to B
I wasn’t guessing,I was say it’s Dunlop 9s I asked him after a concert 😂.
@@kqh123 I never said c tuning
can anyone tell me what string they uses?
Bjorn use 14-68 for a# and c tuning
Bjorn uses a custom coated set from dunlop, 12 - 16 - 22p - 36 - 52 - 68. Essentially the same gauges as the elixir baritone set
Master Exploder They're Dunlop, coated. My personal C standard/drop A# gauges are 12-16-22w-34-46-66

"..the same tuning...C..with the dropped E string...A sharp..." erm..o.k.
Slears Yep, it's drop A#.
+Erik Helkimo Or like Finnish musicians pronounce it "Drop Ass"
***** Haha
@petersahlgren who gives a shit? Allvarligt...
Not really a 'lesson'.
Jimster619 Not really for beginners. I think medium-advanced players can get it.
Literally their most overrated song. :|
Koroar Still a very good one.
Koroar
I thought My Sweet Shadow was.
My grandma plays with better punch. Basically Slash level. Maybe 3-4 month of practice
This song is an intermediate difficulty. Took me a little bit to perfect it. I'd like to see you playing it.
