@@BerserkGoblin well my theory is, based on IMDB and The British Comedy Guide is that there's a wedding episode and in this clip we can see what looks like a seating plan. So I'm wondering if this does take place in an episode with a wedding, whether that triggers something in Cap related to being gay - in all seriousness, it wouldn't surprise me if Mary's equivalent of knocking some sense into someone is to headbutt them, so maybe this is somehow related to him coming out.
OR he's just being mean to Kitty again, and Mary's like "nah, mate!"

I think he's was standing outside Button House so no, I don't think it's his backstory because Button House wasn't built yet in the middle ages (which was when Nick died), but I am still wondering why he's outside instead of being in the basement!

@@BerserkGoblin Button House wouldn't need to be built - it could have been built on top of the plague pit. There are medieval-looking houses behind Nick. Could be a flashback of course

SO MANY QUESTIONS!! What are Pat, Thomas & Julian cheering about? Why are they dancing? What is the significance of the "2" Julian is writing? Why is there a suit of armour? What is Mary running from? Why is there a burglar? What is Mike screaming about? Why is the Captain on fire? Will we finally find out his actual name?? I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG I AM SO UNBELIEVEABLY EXCITED AHHHH thank you so much for this fantastic show!!! Also can we just talk about Kiell's acting in the first scene, not reacting to Simon at all, the writing also looks perfect....just WOW I am in AWE of you all 🤩

Who is here after seeing the American copy trailer?
U.S. citizen here with a few of things to share about the U.S. version of Ghosts:
1) The couple, Sam and Jay, inherited a mansion from Sam's great aunt who passed away, and the show takes place in New York State where Sam is a journalist and Jay is a chef.
2) There are over a dozen ghosts in the mansion in the U.S. version (8 main and several minor), about half are similar to their U.K. version counterparts, but the other half are either a mix of 2 of the U.K. ghosts or completely original.
3) Sam and Jay only inherited the mansion and they sold everything to turn it into a bed & breakfast, so there is a recurring plot point in the show about them needing the business to work or else they're gonna have to move.
And 4) The episodes are about 8 minutes shorter then the U.K. version, so the jokes are more fast paced then the U.K. version (at least from what I have seen of it).
I do enjoy both versions if Ghosts and hope more people from the U.S. and the U.K. watch some episodes of both to make a fair comparison of the 2.
