Dear Mr. Warren, I have an endless respect for you being a very kind person, and most likely the greatest airgun hunter in the world. But please do not hunt an elephant, unless the animal is a danger to its own kind, a danger to people, too old, wounded or ill. I thank you so much for your great hunting videos, I learn a lot from you. I myself am from The Netherlands and I own the Russian made Ataman M2 Carbine cal. 30 producing 96 ft/lbs = 130 Joules of energy. (muzzle velocity: 300m/s). This rifle is just great. In countries where it is legal, it is a perfect rifle for wild boar.
At 11:13, Matti is really beautifull. It impresses me very much that there are many people who live a life near the and.I hope, one day, to be one of them. I have a huge set of questions regarding hunting with various calibers; as well as the land.

Amazing as that rifle is, if its shooting an arrow (air bolt) it to me is more Archery vs Air Rifle. Not saying anything bad about it, but Air rifle hunting to me is using the rifle with a pellet or slug. I know you are probably supplied by sponsors, but for airgun hunting, try some other rifles like maybe FX or Daystate. I like that your videos show alternative hunting and hope they help quell some of the ignorance on airguns vs someone calling them pellet guns or BB guns. They are not toys, and airguns have been around for much longer than most people think.
Good work. But I would rather use the headshot, instead of the arrow, just to avoid the suffering, like the bear did after getting shot with an arrow.

I run the 357 bulldog...looking into your 50 cal as well.
You must make sure that any oils you use with pre-charged pnuematic is silicone oil only. IF it contains ANY petroleum oils you put your life in danger. Research for yourself to find out why. Thank me later.

Why would you want to kill an elephant? Is that even legal?

I'm probably the only person that has anything to say about hunting a elephant. I love hunting I love guns of all types and bows ofall types. I would never want to shoot a elephant myself but I won't knock it. The elephant hunts I see the village people get all the meat so I'm ok with that. And here comes the but. I do not think trying to kill a elephant with any tipe of arrow in any way it's delivered is a ethical thing to do. Yeah killing deer and bear it's fine because the arrow can go through the body of both. But when it comes to a elephant they have such tuff skin and bones are so much bigger then anything north America has in any animal. I really hope you rethink the idea of hunting a elephant with any type of arrow even being delivered buy a air rifle going 500 fpc. It's just in my mind unethical. Now if you want to hunt a elephant with a 460 that's a much betterchoice hell I'd rather see you hunt a elephant with a 30/06 then with any arrow delivered by anything. Good luck with your hunting.

I am all for the hunt, but I feel that if you kill it you should eat it... Now bear hunting is all right with me, cause you can harvest the meat from the kill.... Now as for killing an elephant I draw the line there.. There is no reason on Gods Green Earth to have to bring down one of these great lumbering beasts... They are so endangered as is I can not see any justified reason to hunt an elephant... Just my opinion...! I am also an avid air rifle shooter, and can never get enough of them..

Why'd you shoot the bear in the side and not the head?
Bigger target of vitals, leaves less of a chance of wounding the animal
Keith Warren how so? If it goes in the brain it dies right away. Shooting it in the body made it bleed out
And if you aim at the brain, you've got a tiny target, with the vitals you have a lot bigger target, at least 6 inches, and the animal will die within seconds of shooting them.
Its an ARROW, it would have a high chance of deflection on bone even at the near 500 fps. So headshots with an archery based weapons is no bueno.
That's all I can say about that

Hey, Keith; in your messages, a girl wanted to know if you could kill an elephant with an air gun. I know you could in many ways. One is to shoot through the brain via the eye. An elephant's skin is thick; but, I need to know the answer to the question for survival purposes. Here is the method of answering the question: firstly, kill the elephant in the normal fashion. Next; after the elephant is dead, shoot the elephant at a fairly long range with the air gun to see if it will penetrate. I hope to see an elephant hunt in the near future. Oh, I LOVED the ghost tree in this video at 14:19 [ you would probably have to utilize slow motion viewing. I do not have that capability. That place is truly haunted...LOL It may stop soon..

I have a problem with your 50 BMG doe hunt video. You really tried to convince people that you missed and it killed the deer? Do you still believe that ? or were you trying to get more views from the "shock" factor of telling everyone that a 50 BMG will kill something with a close miss?
T Bundy it's been proven that a .50 bmg close miss will not kill something. The way I saw it, it went in and out the eye sockets. He's blowing smoke up our asses. He is a tool sometimes.
Too bad you have a problem with the BMG video. Take it up with someone that knows exactly what happened. And that is me! I missed the deer. What benefit would it be to say I missed when I didn't. Give me a break. I know it may be hard to believe. But, that's what happened. And the cameraman and guide were there to witness it too. If that's not enough, change channels.

@@HighRoadHunting Sir, I was a 1/6 Marine and was a heavy weapons specialist. I've had rounds the size of the .50 pass so close to my head that it shaved hair, but I didn't die from the shock wave. Not to mention there are MANY videos on RUclips proving you won't take damage, let alone be killed by a near miss. So I have been on the receiving end of what you say happened, with other video examples of proof that you sir, are full of bullshit in this case. Other than that, you make great videos.
So what happens with the dead bear? Is it gutted and eatin after? It’s not hard to aim an air rifle and pull a trigger. I highly doubt she gutted and ate the bear after. Just makes no sense to me. How about trying to kill it with a knife. Now that’s would be impressive.

well bears are killing for a living and they would also kill you if the food was scarce. i just cant understand why nobody seems to have a problem with someone shooting a deer but as soon as a cougar bear or other predator gets shot they are cryin arround. as long as one uses the meat or other parts of it i dont see a problem with it

Jamie Shrubb how? It’s literally more humane than any compound bow would be. Bears are inhumane.... they eat their prey (deer, elk, moose) while it’s still ALIVE!! Managing bear population is VITAL! The best way to ensure a kill is to bait. Also, black bear tastes GREAT! So this isn’t a trophy hunt that doesn’t get eaten. These bears aren’t our friends. All the money spent on hunting supplies and tags all go to conservation. Hunters spend 1000 times more money on conservation and preserving our wilderness and animal populations than any of the animal rights groups COMBINED! How much more humane can they be? Lol don’t let your emotions get the best of you. It’s a weird concept to understand (killing animals actually saves that species) but it is the only way. If there is a market for it, there is reason to conserve and protect the animals populations.
