I’ve been to so many Interpol shows, met him once for a minute and he’s such a great, humble man. I love it when he takes pics of the crowd after the show. They’re all truly having fun with it even after 20 years.
And with that, he shot right to the top of my list of favorite people. What a genuinely great human being! Could listen to him talk about music all day. Thanks for the great interview :)
I really like this channel a lot, the way the interviewer approaches the guests is so humble and respectful, something most hosts forget. Rooting for this channel to become bigger! Also, love Interpol
loved this! huge fan of interpol, it's cool to see sam in more interviews. i don't want to be that person, but i can't help but notice at 3:13 it's listed as marauders instead of marauder..! other than that i quite loved this
You are absolutely correct. I had to finish this edit in the wee hours this morning and didn't have time to do a proper proof. Charles caught it but we'd already published. The result of late night last minute push to get things done. Thanks for watching! mrh
Mica Levi - the musician-producer composer who scored "Under The Skin" = she is from London, UK, born and bred. I think she lives in Brooklyn now but she is as English as I am which is very much so. Mica is a phenomenal musician, she goes by the name MICACHU and I would recommend checking out her music, it's superb.
He must be the classiest drummer out there. Always smashing those drums while rocking a suit.
And doing a great job of it too!
The whole band is :)

Sam is a class act!
We agree.
I’m just glad I get to hear Sam talk for more than two minutes in an interview for once! Totally underrated drummer!

Get shit faced in NY at night , put C$C Ask Questions Later on , and teleport right into an early Eighties NY crime film.
It's a cool album. I only discovered it after I edited this episode: great sounds and vibe.
ooooh!!!
Yeah we're excited about this one too! It's a great interview.
Just before the COVID sham hit and we lost them for two years. Whats the point if they don't play the songs he cites?
