This video truly is great! I’m trying to plan for 2023. Wanting to launch my business, wanting to spend less. Then it occurred to me that I can earn an income, it’s my SPENDING! I discovered I’m adhd this year so I knew I needed to find a video on spending due to adhd!

I want to be a minimalist, and I like to think I have a minimalist mindset, but my ADHD goes "OOH THING I NEED" but then I gather lots of STUFF and I HATE IT

Thanks for this. I recently got diagnosed, coincidently the same month I literally had no money in my account. That's when I realised there really was something wrong. I bought a new car, but if I had planned properly and stuck with my plan, I wouldn't have been broke this month. Your slide number 6 literally made me cry when you spoke about underemployed. That resonated with me cos I always feel so sad asking myself why am I still at the same level yet I have changed jobs, it's like I will forever be stuck at this level, and I should just accept that I don't have the skills (yet I hold a Master's degree) to rise or be a manger.

I hate having ADHD. You beat yourself up for not being responsible and "growing up".

Fantastic presentation! A smallish thing, but so important is that you listed possible needs vs. Wants, as MANY of us with ADHD cant even identify what those are as priorities are hard to pin point.

Mostly good information, but debit cards have the same protection against unauthorized purchases as credit cards do. Or at least the most common type, if it's got a credit card issuer logo on it, then you're fine. This has been the case for quite a while, the main downside is that the money is out of your account until it gets returned.

Credit cards make it easier to make a claim. With debit, it's up to the bank.

I have the most severe adhd in the world. I’ve wrecked my financial , multiple marriages (3), I stopped counting jobs from age 16-25. (33). I can go on and on and on and on. I’m 55. Just put on med. I told them for 30 years I have it. They never helped me. I had to convince them 6 months ago. Walsh, I have adhd. Smart over educated dummy’s. Didn’t help me a bit. I was a Guinea pig test rat my entire life.
