Not only was Buster clearly excited for dad to come home, but at the beginning of the vid when he's first prompted to look for dad he says that "he's at work", showing that even if he doesn't necessarily understand what "work" is, he knows that when dad is not home, that's where he is and so if Buster wanted to look for him, he'd find dad at work. It's such a small thing but it's so brilliant

Adorable indeed. Need to make a front window porch for him. Every day about 15 minutes before he pulls up, let him wait for him at his perch at the front window. Teach him to ring his bell, and holler "Daddie Daddie!" I did that to my daughter's Bird. My daughter's bird perches himself on his perch, every day at 5 pm, " News time, and when she pulls up in front of the house. Freddie rings his bell a few times, and announces "Mommie Mommie!" Then he climbs down, and runs to the back door along with my three other dogs and yells Mommie Mommie, with my two dogs bark, and my other dog howls. It sounds like a three ring Circus just landed in my house for twenty minutes. Lol...good grief. Lol
Buster is afraid of a lot of perches. My husband bill him this amazing wood stand and Buster was so afraid of it. He is going to try one more time to build one and see if we can get him to use it. Then I’ll go from there.
@@BusterTheCockatoo Aww bless him, I would love to understand why they freak out or refuse to either use something or go near it, maybe if your husband builds a perch like a chair with a high back that you can also sit with buster on his perch to make him feel better. Just an idea as I would never try to tell you what to do with your own furmily member, I just love buster and also I like to find solutions to problems, I drive my husband mad with my solution finding lol take care now 😘
