- Thanks for watching! Hell Let Loose Update 14 is here and El Alamein may just be the best map for recon tanks in the whole game. We came up with a plan to have a recon unit work closely with a recon tank and just destroy the enemy backline.

@@TheFreshBakedGoods I can't even use max manification on the tanks. Technically I get 60+ FPS but in reality it shutters and lags which makes it feel like 30 FPS

This is some awesome coordination with your recon buddies and some nice shooting. Just FYI man, someone taught me recently that you need to shoot at the engine block to kill the half-track quickly, you were shooting at the back of it and that's why it was taking forever.
Just hopped over here after enjoying this match on Alpine Sniper's channel. Soooo great to see my favorite HLL youtubers playing together like this. Bonkers match!

I love playing Puma and the light tanks. If you know how to do it right, you can be an absolute menace on the battlefield. nice job
I love the British recon vehicle. My recommendation is to use it on Driel. Tons of fun using the shadow of the bridge on the german side to hide and sneak behind tanks + plenty of small hills to hide behind on the British side.
I actually did try it on Driel and we did really well. Ended up being a steamroll though so footage wasn’t great. Hopefully next time!
Hope they get this optimized soon nice to have variety like this, recon tank and light tank action is always the most intense, love the collab with alpine

10:40, I'm guessing the first shot you did killed the OP. But they were already locked into spawn which goes through even if the OP dies

True "Recon" is a Cavalry Group (Mecz) mechanized CGM, MCG, CR or ACR designation, at Corps or Army level reconnaissance. Troops A,B,C Jeeps w .30,.50 cal & mortars, M8 Greyhounds. ,E troop, M8 Scott HMC howitzer motor carriage. F Light tank M5 Stuart later M24 Chaffee, they also had T.D. tank destroyer Bn. attached. Every U.S. Inf. Div. had it's own organic Cav.Recon.Troop. A troop is the equivalent to a company in size. A Squadron=Battalion & Group =Regiment. As you can tell I love WWII Cav. Great video. Use this valuable resource & doctrine. 👍

Really fun to watch. I had been playing germans on this map twice (GB team is always full) and dealing with the recon/lights behind our lines hell :). Question though, any reason you used AP for the halftrack around 9:20? Is the GB recon tank HE too weak?
Edit: to be clear, I thought the back side of the halftrack is also a weakspot, just like the engine its 1 HE. I will go test it out real quick and let you know.
Edit 2: I just tested it by driving two halftracks up to the GB spawn and switching to GB recon tank. With the daimler GB recon tank you can 1 shot HE a GER halftrack from the back or engine. The backside is a weakspot (same with bazooka - 1 shot on the back). If presented with the side, you can almost 90 degree it on the back plate and it will still blow - but the engine is a better target. I can send you screenshot on Discord if you like.

Daimler is my favorite recon tank in the game. The most H.E. and stable tank ever.
Yo fresh, when ur driel grab a Cromwell man they are amazing honestly feel so much better then p4 and sherman. Oh and the entire river is crossable as far as i have discovered
10 garrys down. Damn nice job. I realize that the germans had better armor in ww2 and it really shows in HLL. I mean come on 3 to 4 shots for a half track is a bit unreal. And I now how ya subbed.

Great stuff but trying to watch this with all the lag and rubber banding almost gave me a headache lol. They need to fix that !
