rule 1: don't trust the roads....... Rule 2: the only 2 guys I can trust on the map are in the tank with me.......... Rule 3: refer to rules 1 and 2........
I really wish HLL had a practice server you could jump into. I've been playing HLL for a while now and really want to try tanking but dont want to frustrate more experienced players.
I love helping newer peeps or at least new to tanking. (Also love helping new players anyway not just in tanking!) I've had an over level 200 player who had just started tanking and wanted to give up cause they couldn't get the gears right. We all start somewhere. As long as you communicate and are willing to listen and try I don't care if you're level 1 or level 300. :) And heck, even if we die a bunch cause of it, as long as we're having fun, that's the biggest part. The issue I see is you see fairly new players who barely know anything about the game who then ask for the heavy tanks and then get dunked on by the enemies more veteran crew and just keep feeding them tanks. (Let alone get me on a tangent about people who ask "for a tank" and then waste fuel for a medium :P)
It goes both ways. There are a few times I have ran up to a tank to warn them about an incoming ambush, targets of opportunity or even help rep them, and they outright ignored or blew past me.
Of course. I'm speaking of my personal experience while tanking. Unfortunately the majority of plays don't seem to grasp that if you work as a team you have a better game.
Totally true at the end there. So many "bad" games had epic events that my friends and I still talk about "remember when you cleared out that building" etc
I think its totally fine to do these videos again. With every update there are new players and the community grows. So especially for games like HLL its good to have fresh updated videos for tanks, class guides etc etc. My friend started playing HLL yesterday and these kind of videos are absolutely helpful for him. So thank you!
Pro tip in panther, if you can’t get hull down the try to get the front raised slightly, can make even the largest round glance and bounce off. Easily done on foy with the hedge/fence rows as they have a slight speed bump shape. In the right position can be filthy against inexperienced opposition so you may need a shower afterwards
Haven't played much but the few times me and my mates have played tanks we play infantry support and we had a blast. Did we do exceptional? Not at all .we were affective yeah sure but i think the best way to start is infantry support due to you learn to keep your head on a swivel and constantly using allied infantry for info or maybe i just find it fun
Fresh knows this, but I prefer to flank and keep moving. I find the safest place for tanks is behind the lines and on the flanks as there likely much less enemy infantry there. You also have the added benefit of possibly taking the enemy tanks by surprise if you don't get marked. Another thing is range: tanks have optics and can engage from much greater distances than infantry so use it to your advantage! But also know when to time a hard cap raid on the enemy point. Once you've taken out the enemy tanks, rush in and take out the Garry and OPs on the point! Tanks are the most effective spawn point killers in the entire game!
As a primarily infantry player, I always try to do my due diligence and let the friendly tanks know the positions of AT guns or tanks through prox chat whenever possible
I haven't been able to find any info on the PIAT as far as damage goes. I've only hit one tank with it so far. Two shots right into a Tiger's exhaust pipe and it didn't seem to do any damage.
@@jor7137 A whole whole whole lot. If you've played War Thunder or S44, it'll have that kind of gameplay. i.e. Shooting different parts of the tank will have a chance to kill the crew inside it. Modules are independent so to fix a broken module, you need to specifically repair that part. S44 tankery has the more realistic gameplay when compared to HLL.
Are HQ's the only way to get fresh ammo for a vehicle? Does anyone ever return their vehicles to the HQ to re-arm? Or not bother because it's too far, or life expectancy too short anyway?
Yep, HQ repair station. The one you drive underneath. I drive back usually if we're in our half of the map. Light tank you can get back pretty quickly. Otherwise if you're too deep in the map you just go full send to the death.
I can't find a tank driving basic tutorial for PC. I understand tank tactics very well. I understand the teamwork and the focus of every position in a tank. It's the damned inputs that are leaving my brain hot. I'm a newbie with tons of time and a drive for improvement. IS nobody willing to cover the basics?
There are written guides for people seeking HLL driving tankery knowledge. Maybe it's not popularised in video as much because it's too much of a specific role for anyone to want to learn. So they just wing it.
It’s called an idiomatic expression. These are common to every language and dialect. This one would also be classed as a phatic expression-again, universal to all languages and dialects. Explore your own more objectively-or from an outsider’s perspective-and this will become readily apparent to you.
Hey FBG, siLence here. Commanded a game or two you were in the other day. Loved your review on the trailer/latest update. Also, I'm a tank God. 350+ Tank hours, basically all I play. Yet to meet someone who can match me in shooting skills, and always looking for great tank players (with very little success). I literally do better solo lately than with the huge influx of new players/baddies 😐 Also, the latest patch has almost completely ruined tanking. The ridiculous infantry speed increase, the seemingly brand new traversing/invisible barrier issues, the insanely terrible rubber-banding, the nauseating vertical barrel bouncing, the bouncing/shaking screen if you stop anywhere that isn't perfectly flat (and in different roles at different times that are rarely in sync), I could go on and on heh. I hope team17 gets their shit together because this game is almost unplayable in its current state And lastly... STOP GIVING AWAY ALL OUR SECRETS! 😉

As a tank pro with 400 hours experience, this is what I tell everyone in my tank squad. Even level 200+ players who don't know half of what I know.
I really wish HLL had a practice server you could jump into. I've been playing HLL for a while now and really want to try tanking but dont want to frustrate more experienced players.
We all start somewhere, jump in

Join an empty server and goof off.
The moment you decide not to ask for advice or anything you had already lost precious gameplay, go for it and F them if they get frustrated
dw about that, say ur new at tanking and it'll work out
Me and my friends are a very experienced tank crew and infantry support is the biggest weakness with out a doubt.

Can we just notice the metal of honor music around the 12 min mark

Mans was determined to put that satchel on that tank😂

After the latest trailer the growing community is debatable 😉😂
13:16 the bf1 music, perfect.
Im ready Coach - put me in!
My biggest tip: Luchs enjoyers are chads.
Fresh by any chance do you know of a tank discord? looking for more tank players to play with
Any competitve clan will have it´s dedicated tank crews
Patiently awaiting the day that Hell Let Loose overhauls it's armor damage module like Post Scriptum did
How will this effect gameplay?

I love that mechanic though I don't think it'll ever come to HLL sadly

Lets talk about how OP the AT guns are now..
Way to much power. Especially now that shots from tanks can ricochet off the AT guns.
@@curtisrobideau5876 I bounce every shot no matter where I shoot it
This tips are gold.
Driving is my problem. Gunner, commanader are second nature to me. I Just need to know what keys to press to accomplish what I want to do
Has there been an update 15?
Bf 5 soundtrack 👌
I prefer normal combat with infantry as Soldier, but definitely need to study tanks too just in case :D
Satchelling seems overpowered to me as compared to AT rockets. Also because the AT satchel loadout has auto weapons.

Bad company 2 soundtrack!
He also included Battlefield V and Call of Duty 2 soundtrack. epic audio.
Can’t wait for the Bible to add British tanks. The British medium is a pain from the side
No armour, not angled, fast as fuck, Sherman 75/6-pounder gun
Ladies and Gentleman, the King of Common Sense.
…sadly, common sense is uncommon, as the saying goes.
why do Americans always start with "what is going on"? what does that even mean? it makes no sense

Seriously, in a tank, your teammates are useless. Blueberries are NPCs as far as I'm concerned, 99% of the time.
