My first visit to Streetlab was in 2002, I went there hoping to buy an 8" board, but as it turned out there weren't any in stock. Fredrik told me more boards were coming in and asked if I could come back the next day. When I told him I had ridden my bike there from Lund, a 20 kilometer ride, he first turned quiet but then said "I'm going skating in Lund in a few days. I'll call you then and bring an eight inch board." True to his word, he did call me up, even came by my house and had three boards in the trunk of his car, so I could choose. Not many would do what he did, to someone he had never met before. Truly humble, truly 100% skateboarder.
It's so real when he said "anyone can open up a skate shop but the hard part is running it" big ups & respect to all skateboard shops around the world that have put the work in for their areas skate scene ❤️ R.I.P Lewis Marnell
Great video!! Benhög helped me a bit when I opened my own store in 2011 - he sure knows what he's talking about, a testament to Streetlabs longevity. It's no picnic running a store or a brand in such a relatively small field.
i went to this shop in july last year, best skate shop ive ever been in so clean designed so nicely shop workers where respectful to leave us to browse and had such variety . awesome shop and i love malmo :D
I went to Malmö a while back. Solo trip all around scandanavia. At Malmö I went to the DIY spot by the railway. Polor spot. Loved it, was so refreshing to skate
