Why did he entertain the idea in the first place which leads me to what was the deal? This deal had to be so life changing, so impactful that this organization HAD to consider. This is not surprising to me but it is extremely sad, Here in the UK there is a big move towards ecumenicalism and although there are churches that we should be working with there are many, even those who profess Christ that we have no business connecting with. It isn't that we believe that we are perfect or the only true believers but we must hold to biblical doctrines. I think so many who profess Christ fail to understand the Bible is our only rule for faith and practice. I think many of the things you highlight are important points that definitely need to be unpacked in our churches whatever movement we are part of. I like Got questions but I don't agree with everything they write and I also recognise that something they wrote about Church of God is not correct I contacted them and corrected them I told them as a leader within Church of God we do not teach or believe in sinless perfection so I am careful about what I take on board with regards to Got questions and every other Christian website. We often fail to study the word of God we fail to rightly divide the word of truth often when we do study the word it is to approve our own preconceived beliefs. Our failure to prioritise Bible study in our homes as well as in our churches is evident .

Response to 10:40 and the title video ...I trying to wrap my head around why would Bishop even consider partnering with The Mormons. Why was it even a thought? Why did he entertain the idea in the first place which leads me to what was the deal? This deal had to be so life changing, so impactful that this organization HAD to consider. They would LOOK foolish if they didn't. Right? Well, let put this situation on a "smaller" scale...our day to day. We make decisions all the time. On the surface it seems okay but when you dig a little digger...there goes the problem...so now what? We have to make sure our heart posture is right and our eyes are focus on Jesus. I appreciate your video and the work you put into it , backlash or no backlash the truth will be told. This is not surprising to me but it is extremely sad, Here in the UK there is a big move towards ecumenicalism and although there are churches that we should be working with there are many, even those who profess Christ that we have no business connecting with. It isn't that we believe that we are perfect or the only true believers but we must hold to biblical doctrines. I think so many who profess Christ fail to understand the Bible is our only rule for faith and practice. I think many of the things you highlight are important points that definitely need to be unpacked in our churches whatever movement we are part of. I like Got questions but I don't agree with everything they write and I also recognise that something they wrote about Church of God is not correct I contacted them and corrected them I told them as a leader within Church of God we do not teach or believe in sinless perfection so I am careful about what I take on board with regards to Got questions and every other Christian website. We often fail to study the word of God we fail to rightly divide the word of truth often when we do study the word it is to approve our own preconceived beliefs. Our failure to prioritise Bible study in our homes as well as in our churches is evident .

Walter I agreed with most everything you said until you said Sheard made a mistake (that part). That was no mistake, he knew exactly what he was doing. You also stated you were going to touch on each part of the video he put out and to pay close attention to his wording, but you seemed to have forgotten about the part where Sheard said he was not going to work with the Mormons on the National or international level, but lots of pastors himself included was going to work with them on the local level. How did you miss that part? His apology meant nothing because he then turns around and say that some cogic pastors himself included are still going to collaborate with the Mormons.
