This is crazy. People are more concerned with that group’s belief system than feeding those in need. A whole mission and ministry opportunity MISSED. Nobody asked the COGIC to submit or succumb to Mormon beliefs or practices, nor to support it. This was about networking for resources and a greater good. Should have fed the people, prayed for the Mormons if you were that concerned, and moved on. Jesus himself dealt with and helped people who didn’t believe and follow him, so who are we? Bishop Sheard is definitely the people's Leader for sure. He heard us and decided to cancel the partnership out of the love and concern for the church even though he sounded a little disappointed in his last video. Watch the video that Bishop Shierd released. With much prayer Bishop Shierd realized his mistake and he reversed the partnership in less than 24 hours. What make a good leader is realizing you made a mistake, acknowledging the mistake, reversing it [If possible], and asking for forgiveness. He did all of that. We can't hold him to his mistake. God didn't. If he had not referred the partnership and acknowledged it mistake, then I would be looking side ways. LOL!

See, I am glad somebody noticed it. I did a video on this yesterday, and I pointed out that glaring observation, among other things. He heard us and decided to cancel the partnership out of the love and concern for the church even though he sounded a little disappointed in his last video. It would be helpful and informative if the church could have our leaders Gen Board, Gen Assembly, Department leaders, for example sit and go though the doctrine of the church and Teach what needs to be known. A mass session is needed right about now.😌

Watch the video that Bishop Shierd released. With much prayer Bishop Shierd realized his mistake and he reversed the partnership in less than 24 hours. What make a good leader is realizing you made a mistake, acknowledging the mistake, reversing it [If possible], and asking for forgiveness. He did all of that. We can't hold him to his mistake. God didn't. If he had not referred the partnership and acknowledged it mistake, then I would be looking side ways. LOL!

As big as COGIC is nationwide why is any leadership looking to partnership with another belief system to feed the people. Isn't there enough resources within the COGIC organization to do that. I see nothing wrong with doing and helping those in need cause scripture tells we all as believers should do that, but to even thinking about aligning ourselves with those who doesn't follow JESUS CHRIST the way we are suppose to do is troubling to say the least.
Bishop Wooden's response is very well stated. However, I believe the PB stated that there are some COGIC pastors who are pursuing this partnership. If that is the case, the PB should request for them to end this partnership as long as their churches are under the COGIC.
You would think, if you're asking for forgiveness and claim that you are reversing course, where is your leadership to instruct the pastors under you to also sever their ties with this worldwide cult? See, I am glad somebody noticed it. I did a video on this yesterday, and I pointed out that glaring observation, among other things. Bishop Wooden has been a faithful shepherd, but Sheard lacks serious discernment, and I believe he was looking to make a move for himself and his legacy without giving consideration to the theological implications of the partnership.

The Mormon church does however, if they can provide resources that the black community and the Church of God in Christ community have not come up with yet. I don't see it as an issue to use those resources to bless our communities. I believe scripture also tells us the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous. Bishop Sheard already clarified that it was about feeding people and nothing else. I'm not sure how necessary this was. I am COGIC all day long and that's been my whole life, but when people need their needs met it's about Jesus. That seems to be what Bishop Sheard was trying to say. He spoke of it as a missed opportunity and not a dodged bullet. There are no denominations in heaven. It's about winning souls for Jesus.
