But what struck out to me is that she has work two jobs to pay for oxygen for her son. A gas which is critical to life, without which humans cannot survive and she has to work two jobs to pay for it. I actually came here for that very reason. When I heard that she is working two jobs to make sure she can cover the oxygen, I'm became very upset. Unless she and her boyfriend are making a lot of money, and if that's the case why would she be working two jobs, her son's oxygen should be covered by Medicaid.
      I'm wondering if they have a caseworker helping them with this? I'm a nurse and I deal with durable medical equipment and Medicaid. They should not be paying for this out-of-pocket. If her son was still young it could be that it had not processed through the system quite yet. But Medicaid should go back up to a year and pay those bills. I'm a nurse in Alaska but I looked up to the Rhode Island Medicaid rules for oxygen and it's covered.
      I came here to see if I can figure out how old this case is and if there is a way to contact her. It looks like from other posts that this is several years old so perhaps it's all been taken care of or her son no longer needs it.

      @@gwouru Yeah of course, I think the original post meant that America has done horrible things to other countries. Look at Palestine, look at Iraq, the whole middle-east is being destabilised by America's actions, not only that, but America enforced the dollar on us when they first found out that the Middle East is rich with oil. Look at Libya for example, who tried to go against this, and their governor was murdered. The woman in this video is not an exemplary to Iraq by all means, she simply has cancer just because of the chemicals that were spilled into the waters of Iraq.

      @@omarameemi5203 , The middle-east, and the people living there have been fighting, and killing each other long before America ever existed. Yes, I was an American Soldier, but even when I take that bias out of it, your attempted argument has no merit anywhere that I can find. As I tell others' here in America, 'If you do not like it here...Try a different country.' That Iraqi woman was talking about 'WAR', and the things that go along with it.
      For those who don't like it, I suggest you pick a better leader for your country next time around, or move to a different one. In terms of chemicals, America did not do what you claim - 'YOUR LEADER' did that to 'YOU'. A major reason Iraq got screwed/FK'd the hell up, is because the ruler at the time (SH I call him) decided that he could take on the United States Military. What an absolute fool at the very least. He got Iraq into this starting way back, even before the 80's and 90's got started.
      Here is some information about him...
      "Saddam convened an assembly of Ba'ath party leaders on 22 July 1979. During the assembly, which he ordered videotaped,[47] Saddam claimed to have found a fifth column within the Ba'ath Party and directed Muhyi Abdel-Hussein to read out a confession and the names of 68 alleged co-conspirators. These members were labelled "disloyal" and were removed from the room one by one and taken into custody. After the list was read, Saddam congratulated those still seated in the room for their past and future loyalty. The 68 people arrested at the meeting were subsequently tried together and found guilty of treason; 22 were sentenced to execution. Other high-ranking members of the party formed the firing squad. By 1 August 1979, hundreds of high-ranking Ba'ath party members had been executed."
      WOW - What a nice guy, and fine country to allow such things.
      ...And here we are now trying to blame America for that, which has already been done by, and to/upon yourselves' alone. WOW - JUST...WOW

This has been a problem for over 30 years in their Country, and the leading cause is algal bloom in conjunction with a ten day oil spill. Iraq doesn't have a public emergency announcement. So they had no idea what was going on. Iran is stopping fresh water to flow to them. It's so unfortunate that innocent people are being used and blamed for choices that our government makes! Instead of fighting, we should figure out how to fix the problems so that we don't push them into genocide!

    "God help you" is not gonna help her. she needs security/payment, she needs an insurance that covers her costs. From someone watching this from Germany, shame on your government. Your government completely failed on you.

    People say you should always respect a woman. But I say I don't respect anyone just because of their gender. I respect and admire humans like the first lady.

    • @eshm1491
      @eshm1491 5 лет назад +3

      I'd always heard there's two kinds of respect. 1) the kind you give people just got being, yknow, people, like common decency to not be rude or meaninglessly insulting and to be considerate to them and their beliefs. And 2) to people who've done remarkable things and thus deserve to get special treatment for it, like this lady. It's a different kind of respect, but the first kind is still really important to be a halfway decent person

      It is very sad what happened to Iraq. They went from being one of the best countries in the world and a vacation spot for Europeans themselves to the very corrupt and terrible country today all cause of the US’s 2nd invasion which was invalid and occurred after the UN themselves denied it

      Was shocked by that! How insensitive could he be to say that America is the greatest country in the world when the US literally killed over 200k innocent people in Iraq for no legitimate reason other than oil!

    • @Monkeyatemysoul23
      @Monkeyatemysoul23 3 года назад +8

      I think he reacted the way he did because he felt she was attacking America and he was in the army therefore patriotism is deep rooted. Coming to court and telling an American judge who was a soldier your country gave me cancer was never going to go down well. Regardless of America and Britain’s actions the Iraqi people did support the war, remember the guy toppled Sadams statue? If the Iraqi people did not enable them, the war would not have been legitimised. Don’t get me wrong Bush Cheney and Blair should be in prison for crimes against humanity but the Iraqis did play a role
