First case made me laugh, then get weepy with the gratitude for his kindness to this mom and her little girl.
The second case made me cry so hard. I felt the young woman's pain.
Several years ago, I was living alone for the first time, and overdrawn by near the end of each of the first six months. I had to stop paying a couple things, get on budget billing for electricity, and adjust to living alone. It was hard, and brutal, and terrifying, and I cried a lot. Her story, though it's very different, hit very close to home.

To those of you who have made good choices in life and havnt spent alot of time in courtrooms, I cant impress upon you enough how never this happens. A judge admitting, not only that he was mistaken but also apologizing for being overly abusive because he felt offended. That's a real damn man. He should be required viewing for all judges whose only task is to generate revenue for the state/municipality, end of the day you're either going to be the guy that brings in those bucks or you're going to be the guy that does his job correctly for the people who pay his salary and not kick them when they're down to extort a few more dollars at threat of kidnap. @oxcuz Which part of the story? The one that she and her brother didn't have a mother and father? the part where the sibilngs were separated? The part where she found out that her grandmother, after finding out that she's terminally ill, wanted to spend her last days with her, only after she died - and will feel guilty about it for the rest of her life? Or the part where she now has to take care of her 16 years old brother, besides her own kid - while she herself just came out of her teen years? Yea, your story must be much sadder, especially if you are able to brag about it on the internet.

Judge showed that like all of us he makes mistakes and can get angry . Kudos to him for apologizing and giving that girl an even bigger break and Kudos to Inspector Quinn for correcting the Judge.

It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong, that quality is rare in people and very rare in a court scenario. That's what makes this judge a legend.

Amazing how the judge handled the situations, strict, respectful, genuine, as a human.
He is the absolute definition of someone who can judge well!

I can relate!! She's use to being the strong independent one and doesn't easily show her vulnerability. When that happens we tend to go on defense etc. I think she's a strong young lady, trying to do what's right and just has some big hurdles to jump! God bless and guide her💜

I watch these to smile, but fully cried through the second. It’s great that he owned up to his mistake but I know words like those at the start probably still cut deep for her. She’s probably heard stuff like this from outsiders that don’t understand her life whenever it gets tough for her to balance her life (have experienced this myself), so I just hope she’s able to forgive and forget ❤❤❤
