Beautiful pond man. I built a very small pond, nothing compared to this, but same feeling, i wake up seeing the turtles swim, plants growing around it , and the birds drinking from it has brought so much joy in my life. Its crazy what something so small can have an impact to your happiness
I have been watching Team Aquascape and their contractors for years. Even since their huge pond build in that Mall in Colombia. And your stream/pond is easily in the top 5 builds through the years. Its epic!!!!!!!
Truly enjoyed this. It was a nice relaxing scenic nature view from start to finish and the music was cool too. I pictured my two RES diving into that aquascape. I actually showed them the video which they watched intently from my new 75 gal aquarium. Thank you. 🙏

Hey Greg, I did that tortoise mash from your other video today.. Holly cow they went nuts for it ! Redfoot, Boxturtles and a baby Cherry head All of them loved it worked so well ,Different enclosures they woke up and devoured that stuff Thanks again !
the pond looks so good! i recently stated working on something similar in a farm located in the outskirts of my city , just to see the wildlife it attracts. so far there have been a lot of frogs!
For a racoon countermeasure, consider a fence with a sizeable outward projecting shelf to prevent the predators from scaling the fence. An electric wire can be hidden on the underside of the shelf as further defense.
I monitor them closely, and when there were turtles that did wander a bit, I moved them to another setup. My yard is fenced, so there’s really nowhere to go so they end up back in there anyway
If I’m running both pumps on high, there’s noticeable evaporation on hot days. Generally I run one pump on a medium setting and evaporation isn’t bad. Obviously that’s also environmental and at times when everything here is evaporating, this setup will do the same. I just allow it and eventually we get rain to refill it
Yeah keeping Raccoons out deserves contemplation. I seen some things on Google where they have a device that admits high frequency sound only Raccoons can hear that keeps them out.. something like that. Gotta try it

If u breed one albino res with normal res what’s the chance of the offspring’s to be albino will atleast one baby be half albino or something?
