And I also regret that I didn’t name off all the people individually who gave their heart and soul helping me build this project. There were so many friends along the way, but Aaron Chico is one guy who put a lot of blood sweat and tears into that project with me and his name should not be left out of the mix. He has worked with me on Many projects along the way. Also, Lindsay’s siblings , Aaron and April. Kris Feldner made it out for a few days. I’m sure I’m forgetting someone but it’s only in the moment. I appreciate what they brought each and everyone of them :-)
Love you John! Thank you for bringing me into your dream build. I feel extremely honored to have been a part of that project. I enjoyed every second of it. I’m looking forward to the next one that will come from people viewing this!!!
I would request a second look at this one. This video is great and has a lot of information for pond builders, but as someone who has zero ability to build this, I would like to just see more footage of the pond itself and swimming in it, instead of the technical details. Again, I am certain those are awesome for that audience so keep it up, I just want the eye candy, lol. I also will never have a million dollars to build anything so that’s another reason I just want to experience the beauty of it. 😊
John Adams you are a genius I watched all your videos on the building of this pond and it is truly amazing, I live in the UK, and what I would give to have the land and money to create something like this. This is what dreams are made of God bless you and your family (and by the way I watch all of your videos Greg they are fantastic) Hopefully going to build a pond this year but nothing on the scale of this.
Well, I hope to be back over to MJ’s place in the UK in a couple months. He’s having an event there and I plan to attend :-) I’ll see you if you’re there!
Wow! I have watched John's videos on this project from the beginning. What an amazing build! So much love and heart put into this. Love, love, love this water feature!
Love that guy! I always feel like he's telling you exactly what he thinks and what he feels. I never feel like what he's saying is a pitch to sell me something. I love that he loves the natural look, hence the motto, "building ponds out of natural wood and stone.". I know most if not all your CACs can say the same, but with John, it just feels real, whereas it comes off like a salesman with some of the others. I can tell you this, John and / or his team will be building me a pond and stream when we finally retire and move to our property in Tennessee. I've already informed my better half. This is going to happen, even if she has to go back into the workforce to make it so 😂
What an amazing project. And you feel so relaxed and at peace talking about it. How awesome it must feel to have built such a creation representing the sum of great passion! Cheers from Belgium !
I've watched a good number of John's videos ( modern design aquascaping ) and they are all great at teaching and showing the end product of his teaching and builds. I'm hoping to take my wife to the smoky mountains at some point soon. Give John some advance notice, and hopefully combine that trip with a stop at The Oasis. I gotta have a front row seat at that feature for at least a few minutes. It is gorgeous. The surrounding landscape, with the rolling hills looks beautiful too.
John, you really outdid yourself with this project. What a magnificent journey you've been on from your early builds to this pinnacle. No doubt you'll continue to lead the way for us pond builders. High 5's to your family for their great efforts building and supporting your vision, and to your team and allies.
I really don’t think I could’ve done it without all of their help. And they definitely show their true colors putting up with me through my psychosis and my horrible Pond addiction😂
G’day Greg John Teams & Co ;-) Wow Exceptional creative artistic, absolutely beautifully magnificent imaginative inspirational, one of a kind living artworks ever. This is one of my favourites…. Love to watch it morph in to its next best version of itself! Congratulations 🎉 with many source blessings with truth clarity love light laughter happiness joy fun play creativity adventures abundance wisdom wealth health and may peace be with you all! Victoria Australia 🇦🇺 xox 😘
I have to mention you have one of the best next to home, not a thing wrong with that. I love the design and going under water to cave, I felt it would have been a blast. I like the flowers and the falls, way cool. It does look great, thanks!
Thanks so much it was a great journey😂 now I’m planning on tearing down the wall and making the pond bigger. Can’t imagine what it would’ve cost me if I would’ve had a NASCAR addiction…
I’ve watched lots of his videos on that project as well as others and John is one of my favorite aquascape contractors. Hard working man and a hard working crew! He seems very genuine as well. Thanks for featuring him and his pond! Me and the wife have started a savings account and plan for a pond in 2029.
I can't wait to see if someone in aquascape contractor can make a LAGOON like in our country the Enchanted River and Baracuda lake that have a spring in the bottom.
Thank you Sir@@GregWittstockThePondGuy and you noticed me like Sir. ED BEAULIEU there are good examples of lagoon springs in California, the Rainbow Springs State Park, Florida
This is by far the best aqua scape pond i have ever....and will ever see. And it isnt even close. You speak about working within the area you have, as it is limited, but I assure you, that you utilized this area far better than people with way more room to work with ever have, in my opinion. I honestly can't tell that you have a lack of space. And I would be right there with you on the whole idea of pushing your "chips" into this pile. Give me this over extra cars and stuff all day long. The idea of having all your loved ones over to share this with is what life is all about. Congrats on what is legitimately something that makes me more jealous than most things I have ever seen. Fantastic work you abd your team of geniuses have done.
And truthfully, you can never capture the feature in its glory in a video you’ve got to see it in person to get the full effect. Totally appreciate you spending time with us and joining us on our journey. :-)
Love John, his work and his channel. Watched all his videos creating this and I was just amazed each time. All that work, time and money was so well spent
Good afternoon Greg hope your having an amazing day. Wow what a spectacular project. Omg its absolutely spectacular. I absolutely love everything about this project.. wow now this is what you call a absolutely beautiful pond. I wish I had this at my house but man thats alot of money for a little pice of heaven. Definitely a statement pice and an amazing project to show potential clients... fantastic job.. hope you have an amazing day Greg and I'll see you next video like always
Thanks so much, we just really appreciate everyone that has helped us get to this point and now we appreciate you spending time and sharing our story with us😊
Feel like this should've/couldve been a 3 part 😂. Absolutely incredible project in every shape or form. A goal in life is to have something on this level for the family! Aoty without a doubt.
Such an incredible project built by an incredible family and their friends. This was a great vlog on the story behind this amazing water feature build.
That’s a cool thing to have but not many people could care for that. I guess it’s for people who want to live by a stream in the mountains. It’s nice to see someone so passionate about what they do. It’s beautiful!
@@GregWittstockThePondGuy I want the pond to be shaped like a heart with a heart deck. So people can get married on the deck. But I want to be able to swim in it with catfish, large and small mouth bass, and other local fish.
Hello, this pond is incredible. May I ask, Is there any issues with hydrostatic pressure against the house? Did you take any measures to counteract this?
Outstanding brother. I’m probably gonna try to start on a pond in my backyard this fall. How do you keep the heavy rocks from puncturing your liner. I’ll be doing this by myself for the most part but I know there will be some two man rocks I need to place. I can’t afford to be punching hold in anything. Also what’s a good size pump for about a ten foo or so waterfall👍🇺🇸
I've never seen a Japanese-style pond on this scale. Not only the pond, but the cave is also a really nice design! The idea of swimming in a pond I've never seen it before because it doesn't exist in Japan. The construction company that did the work also did a great job. This video was great and I learned a lot, thank you
Yo I fucking love this I used to build ponds with and for my disabled grandparents I love this idea and it gave me a brain blast for more to your design love what you did I wish I could be apart of stuff like this again but still good just seeing it

Just Phenomenal. Worth all the time it took to Build it. I especially love 💕 the Grotto
So John it looks like you have set the bar up several more notches. Spectacular

It was very little overview of the pond as total. Some good views, but I'm still unsure how the pond looks and how it lays round the house...
Check out his videos for more details

The rec pond shape I want to do is going to be hard to make it look natural. But I'm going to try it when I get land for my home and wedding chapel
Sounds like an awesome project!👏
