Great design, I really like the slits, nice little detail :)
Thank you so much! I thought leaving it solid would be too plain so the slits offered a nice design feature.
By the way, I love your shop setup.
@@EigenDesigns thanks hehe :D But I still need to manage tidying up the shop regularly xD
Looking sharp! You done well with this one. I really like the cnc design. It’s simple but has a high impact on aesthetics. 👍👍👍
Thanks @Dude Sawdust ! I kind of wanted to keep this one for myself :D
Hope you are well Logan.
@@EigenDesigns Yes, it would have been hard to give that one up. All is well over here. Same as usual but slowing down just a tad on the RUclips channel. I have some other endeavors I’m embarking on. But I will always be woodworking.
Very beautiful but I'm wondering about the wood movement of the large panels. I didn't notice what you did to avoid the panels from splitting.
Beautiful table, Mark! I love the modern slat design on the sides as well as the feet. Looking forward to more great builds. Stay cool in this Houston heat! - Joe
Thanks Joe. I appreciate your support.
It's been 100+ degrees in the shop for the past 3-4 weeks so I have a garage insulation kit coming in soon to help keep the heat down. It's been brutal this summer already and its not even August yet.
Such a gorgeous color! I love the moving top! Thanks for sharing how you collaborate with clients!
Thanks Julie :)
Love this build Mark! Top notch quality!🤌🏻
Thank you! We should do a RUclips collab someday.
Amazing video as always! I love the incorporation of the onefinity cnc
Thanks Blake! I personally try to use the CNC whenever I can to make things easier for me during a build. Sometimes I wonder if people without CNCs lose interest when I use mine for a build like this. What are your thoughts?
@@EigenDesigns well I have the same onefinity that you do so I’m not sure if my answer will be the best. I love seeing how it can be used in other aspects and furniture. For example I made a coffee table not too long ago and I used my cnc to cut tapered legs, it made the work much easier for me. So I’m right with you on if the robot can do it, let them 😂. It’s a good way to add more to something that you couldn’t do before in some aspects. I hope that made sense 😂
Beautiful modern coffee table, Well done! It is really cool that you filmed the process and made it available on youtube.
Thank you Farzad, it was a very fun build :):)
That is beautiful! loved your finish on the table....
Thanks Rick :)
Love your work. Great job. I want to attempt to make one for my mom. How many board ft was used for this project. Great job
Nice clean professional build, very impressive.
Thanks Colin 😊😊
awesome build love your videos man did you make plans for this at all
Subbed, love your channel man. I hope to be capable like you one day.
You just made my day, thanks bud ☺️☺️
Love your work and how you make it look so easy
As others have said the slits in the ends really make this peace pop
I know in Australia you would get $1800 for your coffee table Would that be the same in the states?
We are limited here on what wood we can get at a reasonable price
Keep up the great work
Cheers mate. I actually lived in Melbourne for ~5 years earlier in my life so I have a soft spot for my Aussie friends.
The materials to make a table like this are around $600 here in the states (e.g. walnut, lifttop hardware, finish, etc.). So something like this could go for $1000 - 1500 if you had the right client.
@@EigenDesigns Thanks for the reply
I don't know about over your way but wood here has just become like Gold hard to find and very expensive .... Is this a hobby or your full time job?
What made you move back to the sates
@@duffstergpx9375 hardwoods over here are still reasonably priced, but common softwood dimensional lumber and plywood have gotten expensive.
Woodworking is my hobby, but I would love to do it as my full time gig. If I am ever able to generated enough income from this I would focus my attention soley on woodworking.
I finished highschool in Melbourne and then came back to the US to go to uni. I got an engineering degree and just remained in the US for work. Life is good here, but I miss Australia.
finally he said router
Finalllly!
Bummer. Its Nice work. But that whole CNC thing kinda ruins it for me. And It’s me, I know, but still… it’s just a video killer that I can’t seem to get over.
Tuan, is it because I used the CNC? Or do you not like how it looks?
