Just a little tip because I’m a vector artist. When you create points for a curve like that, you want to make your first point like you did then make your second point while the line is still straight before the curve. Make that last point at the end on a straight line then when you adjust the point between 2 and 3, it will go into place perfectly. Basically you want to put your points on straight lines and use the arm to adjust any curve in that line. You just went a little too far with the 2nd line, which made a straight slant to the 3rd. Do the 2nd one a little earlier so when you do the 3rd, there is already a curve that you just need to correct a bit. Thanks for the video!
Your help is excellent, you take into account what we asked of you, this was the tutorial that we have always looked for to achieve this effect with tracking for real estate projects since we have not found it and you helped us with this, although we do not speak English, we will graphically follow what you you teach us in the video, thank you very much!!! 👍
I have followed your steps, but why is it that when I publish to tracker, only 1 point goes to the track? but strangely it happened on the davinci that I have on another device, while on my main device it wasn't like that?
This was a GREAT tutorial. I really enjoyed learning. As I watched, a light bulb went on for me, and I was wondering if you could do another video similar to this one, but what I have in mind is actually duplicating the line you made but offsetting it "above" the original. Make the original a light shade of gray. Put the original in a position to make an illusion of a shadow. The net effect would be something that would APPEAR as though we were watching the flight of a drone and to make it seem convincing, the shadow of the drone path would appear on the ground (because the two paths are essentially identical, just offset to a place that makes it look like we are watching a drone fly (from another drone which is above this drone illusion) Not sure I explained myself very well, but what I have in mind is an animated path that would show the flight path of a drone. In fact, I wonder if a drone image could be attached to the head of the path to make it look like there is a trail behind the flying drone? Is this even a possible animation illusion in Davinci?
Thanks for the explanation. But what if you want to track a road like this, but the video is 1 minute long Google Studio footage? So the start of the line goes out of view over time, and the end of the line isn't in view at the beginning...

Thank you very much for sharing, it make a lot of sense, but I've never really though about it. Thank you!

Wonderful! How about Areal Tracking… I am a realtor and that would help me a lot… I would love to see a video with areal tracking in Davinci Resolve
Thanks for the suggestion i'll see what I can do!
Nice one, very helpful video. Manually is mostly my first choice.
Yeah, it really depends of the kind of footage, but I have a tendency to go manual he often look natural and less jerky in my opinion
@@VideoEditorStudio I agree
Bloody perfect. Cheers.
What about doing a longer line along a longer video?
Did you find a solution? I'm having the same problem...
Thank you!!! Excellent!!
You're welcome!
Thanks for the explanation.

Similar principal, but would require further explanations on tracking. I'm adding that to my list of video to do, thanks!
@@VideoEditorStudio Amazing!
Many thanks for all the time and energy, you put into these!
THANKSSSSS
That's Cincinnati!
Great! Thanks!
Welcome!
why you don't use planar tracker?
buenisimo!
thank you
Welcome!
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Doesn't work for complicated shots with parallax
🙏
How about After effects plz?
