Back to Scotland. I had the opportunity to work with at risk kids there. They have an amazing ministry set up in the Overtoun House in Dumbarton near the Castle were William Wallace was held before being shipped back to England.
I would like to go to Indonesia again. Can you make a tutorial on how to create the "A Film by Joey Helms" neon title logo at second 0:16 in the following youtube? ruclips.net/video/Lzn61kwh89Q/видео.html&ab_channel=JoeyHelms
I switched from Adobe to DaVinci two weeks ago and man, it's like a breath of fresh air. The reliability and layout makes me want to edit. Never had that experience with Adobe.
Yeah I think Davinci is really useful for early editor to experience the editing process... And if we're ready,we can start editing using Adobe.. But I prefer Davinci Resolve..
I switched a few years ago from Vegas pro, I had used Adobe but soon discovered it requires a very steep learning curve if you want to be adventurous or creative, in the 2 or 3 years I've been using resolve it only crashed twice, Vegas would crash that amount in an hour, and the added bonus resolve is by far the fastest at rendering, still can't believe what it costs in terms of value for money for the studio version.....Love it...
Nah bro resolve crashes on me everytime more like premier. To me there's literally no difference both softwares crashes alot. My system spec, i7 7th gen,4 cores 8 threads. With 16gb ram and 2gb nvidia 940mx at 2.90ghz.
When I add the initial drop shadow and link it between background1 and merge1, the line animation disappears when I play it from start to finish of this clip. The animation of the ellipses and pin remains though. When I delete the drop shadow, the line reappears and the full animation works. I'm using the free version of DaVinci 18.5 on a Mac desktop. What could be the possible problem?
hai i am new to editing stuff i started like last month and seeing your video from last 1 week it really boosted my knowledge and got to know many new tips and tricks to use davinci Thanks .. love from india
Ive just started using Davinci Resolve and just found your videos. I have so much to learn but its not so daunting after watching these. Thanks for sharing, im going to give this travel map a whirl.
Thank you very much Billy! I have been thinking about making a video with travel map but did not get there! Thank you for sharing! There will be time... to travel!
I really wish to visit Switzerland : mountains & rivers' are the kinda of space I need right now. Thanks for making the map animation I am always been so obsessed with maps & you made it even earlier to express it even on davinci, Once again, A big thanks billy.
You should visit Iceland! We've been there in 2019. Amazing country! I'm still working on my complete Iceland Video. Your map animation is very helpful for that. Thanks a lot!
Awesome video, really. I have used it in different videos of mine now. Just one thing I just realized just rrewatching it as a reminder....the map shows Canary islands as of Portugal, and we are from Spain. Thank you for your nice nice work teaching!
Thank you very much for this tutorial. It is clear and well explained. I am switching from Premiere Pro to DaVinci and man, everything is so much cleaner and to me looks even easier. I am beginning to understand how nodes work, and man, working with nodes looks way better than working with layers in After Effects. Everything is visible and easily adjustable. 3D space looks brutal. I got lost multiple times in AE but in DaVinci I have full control by watching 3D space in one screen and end result in another. Color page and Fairlight are also very, very interesting.
Hey Billy can you please make a video teaching how to make em tiktok loop videos. You know, where someone shows a text then paper then lags the video or even the hulk effect if possible
Watching this in Jan 2023 - looking back on you saying where you want to travel in 2021. Aged like milk eh. Maybe this year. 😀 Keep the great videos coming Billy 👍
Hey All! Hope you enjoy this video! Let me know where you would like to travel in 2021!
