I recently bought my first car, its a black manual 94 325i convertible with an original Dinan stage 3 tune. Its an incredibly clean example (its a Florida car and I live in the midwest so its hard to find ones with no rust) and I am very happy with my purchase. You are a big reason why I wanted an e36 and I cant wait to see more e36 videos from you!
congrats on the purchase! it’s incredibly hard to find a good example of an E36 these days, so I’m really happy for you. appreciate the kind words and I’ll more E36 to come!
It’s for sure the thermostat, had the same thing on mine. Swapped it out for stock thermostat and metal housing and it heats up and stays where it needs too
11:55 I actually just learned about this in traffic safety class today. This is caused by toe-in, I believe. Also, I would love to have a community garage near me. But, the nearest one is yours. Which is over 1hr 30min away.
Cool things allowed in USA. In germany this is an export car for Africa or something else when the shocks, motor or transmition is gone. and it would be never allowed run shocks like this
I wouldnt call ECS budget, all my audi builds use alot of their parts, they are thoughtfull well designed parts with great install instructions. Without ECS i wouldnt be half the tuner/Mechanic i am today, they make a great premium product at a good realistic price.
I agree. I think they make some great stuff. They may not be at the very top of the shelf, but they have products that are realistically attainable and catered towards enthusiasts. I've been really enjoying these coilovers so far. Would recommend!
Hey man, Question for ya so I bought a E36 and It came with the ecs coilovers, problem is I bought it wrecked with one of the front shock threaded inserts Being snapped 😢 contacted ecs and they said they can’t just sell an individual part sadly. Have you happened to run into any 3rd party sites for ecs parts?
I recently bought a e46 from Portland. I plan on making a similar style build to your e36. The plan is to make a fun and practical track car. but I got a ways to go with maintenance cause it’s a bmw.
@@bendaga lol why’d no one tell beemers are so brittle? I’ve already replaced the valve cover gasket, intake boots, vac lines, control arm bushings, tie rods and diff bushings and I have a feeling I’m just getting started. For the most part it’s easy to work on so thats really nice.
Geez man, is this video about changing the coils or you talking? bro stop talking and show the steps on how to change the coilolver. Halfway to the video I had to stop and find another video. this video is basically 15 minutes of you talking.

Also, I'd like to see you do a video on sway bars, I've heard that it's the biggest favor you can do for this chassis.
