My guess for that first G37 is that it was bought at a buy-here-pay-here lot and that they couldn't keep up with the payments and so it got repoed. This happens a lot with places that take like 500 dollar payments and get you in a car. The person can't make the payments, or just don't pay them, and so they get repoed and don't ever get real plates on it, they just keep the temp tags on. My guess is it was owned by someone who lived in a not-so-great neighborhood, hence the bullet hole.
Out of all of them, I think the GTI has the best chance for a second life since most of the issues are probably mechanical. My heart would try to take and fix that S2000 though.
Not the original color. Engine bay is a tall tell sign of the original color which was light blue. Looking at the rear end damage - it's going to need a few hours on the frame rack for some pulling back to OEM spec.

8:39 Not necessarily, everything in front of the cab (including everything in the cab and doors) is just a Cherokee. There's also a bunch of aftermarket parts for the Cherokee which the Comanche is heavily based on. I believe they're mechanically identical as well.
