Marcel, thank you for this video, you sound like a very knowledgeable guy. Awesome truck! .He had a lot more he could’ve shared with us if you had only just shut up. Yeah you should be glad it’s not your job because you would’ve been fired. i’m surprise he didn’t just tell you to go away. Maybe in the future somebody else were interviewing him that’s not quite as self-absorbed and rude as you are.
Marcel. Are you high on speed or something? Or is this how you always talk to people. You have a serious talking over other people problem. He is a patient man because if you talked over me like that the looky looky would have been done pretty instantly.
Honestly having done some expedition to the Arctic and other places. I have to say, gas engines are the way to go especially since these trucks just sit at home for most of the year. The DPF, high diesel prices etc etc...I have moved to a Ford V10 older model myself.
Nice video. We're moving into the truck camper world. Finally bought me a 22' F450 (diesel), just couldn't find the 7.3 in the higher end packages, now on the hunt for a camper. As far as car washes. A lot of truck stops have truck wash bays, where you never leave the drivers seat (except to pay) and just sit inside while a few people hand wash with pressure washers and ladders. I've been through a few pulling out trailer, especially needed after going through slushy sand / salted areas.
Marcel. YOU interrupted the gentleman way too much! Hard to listen to because of your constant interruptions or trying to guess what he is trying to say. Just to be wrong or way off. The thumbs up was due to him. Not you.
That’s cool but I could probably build 7 of my rigs for the cost of that. Although this is definitely better for a big fam. Maybe more not sure what the price is.
Do you love your wife and family? Get a F-550, look at those brakes. This guy just kind of loves his family, i really love my family, i have semi truck axles and brakes that can stop 4 f-550s fully loaded
How do u drive this monster on normal trails without destroying the path out from under you?! I can picture mountainous terrain with no guardrails as the earth crumbles over the edge as you try to pass 😨
My question is If buy a diesel truck from the US, and I want to ship it Europe, I would need to EGR delete? I didnt quite Understand what are europes restrictions.. not the same as the US?
You know what would be cool? Run your gasoline powered overland rig off hydrogen. Compress it on the rig. You could run your generator on that to. Would you even need solar? Wait. Is that a knock at my door? The powers that shouldn't be get nervous when you talk about compressed hydrogen 😂
@@SomeTechGuy666 I saw a guy with a blown LS in a street truck. It ran pretty good. Are there actual problems or just problems with the government? Myself. I'd rather use the oil. You can't drink oil.
@@SomeTechGuy666not sure about what issues there are but there are plenty of people running vehicles off hydrogen exclusively. Not when the rear axle weight is 12000lbs and front is only carrying 6000lbs. We want to force thr weight forward as much as possible,. But yes your point is referenced when not so rear biased
@@irnieracing not arguing, try to learn. I based my assessment on the literature that the truck manufactures provide specifically regarding truck campers. They always specify to put your camper center of gravity over the rear axle. What am I missing?

Just high on weed and excitement - yah a-hole haha 😄
no kidding
7 minutes in and had to stop because Marcel is constantly talking when he should be listening.
I work with a guy who always talks over people. Never let's others finish their sentences. So annoying.
Agreed extremely rude!
Knowledgeable dude!!!
this guy is brilliant, need to save this vid to my playlist
Really like those back Tires . Actually the whole setup nice.
Very cool, sounds like it's pretty stout in the wind, being so top heavy you need that.
You should talk less and let them talk more

Apparently you can't access the diagnostics on the dodges without special licensing. That Ford is a nice setup.

Yes but those truck washers are expensive 100-200$
Omg would you stop taking so much dude!
Your a young very high energy … don’t take this wrong when interviewing listen
Love that rig
This would have been much more interesting if the narrator had stopped interrupting the person interviewed.
Try to find someone while traveling to change/fix that size tire and rim!

Only a half million dollars, might as well get two..

Did you ask him how much insurance was ? Heard insurance is a nightmare on a 550, probably double your 3/4 ton
@@scottkarjala no, but good question 🤔
Any info about gas mileage with AF loaded?

There are many drawbacks and issues with using hydrogen. That is why nobody is doing it.

Man, that’s lots of weight for a 7.3 gas
Unfortunately you ruined what would have otherwise been a fantastic video about a rig by overtalking this guy for 40 minutes!

It's new so 2022 or 2023

To much for a gas engine
And who's going to split those wheels on the trail? Have you ever taken one appart?
When I get some 3 piece super single wheels like Hutchinson brand, I will film a practice change over.

Please don't film that. I'd rather drive on a flat tire to the tire shop and ruin a rim than pull apart a military wheel in the desert.
