We love our Truck camper and our Chevy kodiak c4500 for full-time living on the road. Our back seat turns to a bed for our dog. Air ride seats,cab and rear axle makes the ride super comfy loaded rolling down the road. We started with a 3500 and the bed wasted storage options. Flat bed is the way to go for extra storage. One thing I think makes our maintenence easy is our hood that opens backwards ,giving tons of access to the engine. We seen your trip to Alaska, and We could tell it changed you forever🤣 Welcome to the club guys! Truck campers breed adventurers! We just rolled in to Moab now and can't wait to explore. Chad; I followed Morton on the Move when they worked with Lancer for a custom build and then epic several months long trip through Alaska. I was quite impressed with the rig from Lancer which this couple were instrumental in the design. It was great they brought us along on that trip and like every trip, nothing goes as planned as they can tell you regarding porcupines eating the electrical wiring under the truck. Tom and Caitlyn are super nice people who very efficiently/cost effectively built their vision into reality. The entire build is, from the tires on up, a well balanced blending of a tough as nails off road vehicle and a comfortable attractive "home". Kudos on the power system that only needs a generator back up occasionally to boost it. A girl's gotta have a bathroom that keeps her socks dry!!!
Great Tour! Love the renovations and upgrades. You guys set a new standard for truck campers. Especially, with the dry bath. I am sure that BigFoot manufacturer is looking.
Sweet ride! I have a Power Wagon that I overland in. Nothing as elaborate as this beauty, but it gets the job done. You surprisingly get better fuel mileage than I do.

Because of the side and underbody storage plus off road capability I had the same idea if using a flat deck ( we have some at work which gave me the idea) Never got around to doing it but now I'm thinking about it again! Sick build!!

That rig is a beast. I travel full time in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with an Ursa Minor top which is small and very capable but I find myself thinking a lil more space might be called for in the future.

I really think you should focus on ore on what you are doing instead of what others are doing. There are a look ready so many RUclips pages about vehicles and equipment. This is so redundant. I watch you because of your love for roughing it in the wild. To me the more things you use to make camping comfortable, you might as well drive an RV. Your old van, knife, ax, Dutch oven and lots of snow, is the best. This is just ones man's honest opinion and maybe no one agrees with me. But you are talented and knowledgeable.

And by the way, it’s the exact same ruffing it with the exact same knife, the exact same ax, and the exact same Dutch oven. And now with the sprinter van, I get further off grid for longer periods of time than ever before. The adventures are the same, if not even more adventurous as they were before. Shots are filmed the same way, the story is told the same way, the fire is built the same way. The axe is used the same way. The Sprinter is featured in some driving shots as I get myself to a camp spot where I camp and cook - exactly as the old van was. Now the van is simply a different color and a different shape now. The formula is all the same as before. It’s not like once the sprinter showed up all I do is sit inside and cook my frozen meals in a microwave in a KOA Kampground - now THAT, I could understand the concern for….

And by the way, it’s the exact same ruffing it with the exact same knife, the exact same ax, and the exact same Dutch oven. And now with the sprinter van, I get further off grid for longer periods of time than ever before. The adventures are the same, if not even more adventurous as they were before. Shots are filmed the same way, the story is told the same way, the fire is built the same way. The axe is used the same way. The Sprinter is featured in some driving shots as I get myself to a camp spot where I camp and cook - exactly as the old van was. Now the van is simply a different color and a different shape now. The formula is all the same as before. It’s not like once the sprinter showed up all I do is sit inside and cook my frozen meals in a microwave in a KOA Kampground - now THAT, I could understand the concern for….
I miss my truck camper in many ways but my van has a lot of advantages as well.
