I think fans are split on Cobra Kai Season 6 because Netflix only released five episodes, leaving too many questions unanswered and the story feeling inconclusive.
i hate how the writers are obsessed with ruining hawk. in season 5, they claimed that hawk, robby and miguel were on the same level. but ignoring the kenny fight, in season 6 he’s getting ratioed by fucking devon. mental nerf or not, this is a sin.
I hope that at the Sekai Taikai we can see Hawk back at his peak and have him win some fights. I also hope this stupid conflict gets settled with Demitri sooner rather than later.

i addressed the main criticisms i’ve seen in the beginning of the video 1. the tone 2. kreese 3. daniel/johnny and i brought my own criticisms being that the part felt like filler, demetri is bad, hawk is a letdown. if there’s something i “didn’t address” it’s because i’m unaware of it. i have a video coming soon of me going thru the cobra kai subreddit anyway if you really want me to address every single hardcore fan’s opinion💀

Hawk being grouped with the shitpit of students is just a crime like just because he ain’t part of Johnny or Daniel’s family does NOT mean he should be portrayed as no longer one of the best students when 4 senseis last season implied that. I don’t like how just cause he ain’t part of the power coupled they have to group him with the shit pit of a nerd, an 8th grader, and a girl that just started karate. And Johnny not caring about Hawk not making also doesn’t make sense he is literally the guy that created Hawk and he was portrayed as his 2nd best student in the first 2 seasons. why is he just ignoring him entirely? Mike showing up out of now where also is weird like Daniel is the reason his store got burned down why is he doing him favours? There should be a conversation at least. And poor Kenny. His talk with Shawn was a top 5 scene this season Imo and there was a lot of hype with him joining MD and how many scenes did he share with Robby outside of episode 1? 0. Lapusso literally has a bigger connection with Robby when he’s the mf who bullied Kenny 💀 in no world should Kenny not go to the tourney as well like I get Devon going but Dickmetri? Nah I’m sorry he’s just not very plot relevant at most he’s a side piece to Hawks arc. They kinda portrayed that in s4 which was great they did it perfectly. This season they are portraying Demetri as more of the main character to that arc like why he’s just so uninteresting.
ngl i was looking forward to this upload. I agree with you on this season, hawk still getting done dirty and ion even know if it’s gonna change in parts 2 or 3, kenny did not deserve the beat down this season either, the hawk and demetri drama i wasn’t even very interested in and even though i understand people are mad about johnny and daniel fighting once again, but i have to agree them not being best friends and not agreeing on everything was the right way to go. i agree with you on pretty much all of the other things you spoke about in this too. great video pokery 👏

Honestly, i cant stress the fact that Hawk (the mf that beat Robby Keene and had barely had time to switch to the exact opposite philosophies and adapt accordingly) is being shown to lose to ALL THE FUCKING SIDE CHARACTERS. Hawk being shown losing to KENNY and DEVON and dont even get me started on him losing to DEMETRI

i agree with alot of what you said but i dont agree with most of what is said about season 5, the Hawk's mohawk, and hawk being in the bottom 4. The biggest issue IMO is the motivation for fighting in the seikai, writing between Daniel and Johnny, and the time Chozen chooses to leave

People be saying "Kreese going on side quests is way too corny" when this show was corny since the beginning...I mean Kreese literally broke out of jail with a jello prank not to mention he was implied to beat up 2 massive guys with brass knuckles and him constantly showing no signs of elderly behavior(same with SiIver who's also in his 70s). I mean did you people watch this show? Overall IMO this part was good with more filler than I'd like personally. I would've liked to have them cut out the side characters and focus more on the training side of things but yeah it's still good and episode 5 was peak

Do you still think Miguel and Sam are getting the sekai taikai dub as captains? A popular theory is Robby is too unbalanced because of Torys defection and that causes him to get messed up and Miguel has to step in as captain.

Sam found her balance, is fighting for a healthy reason(closure), and has shown her maturity in being the one to initiate her and Tory’s friendship and apologize first despite Tory being the one that almost killed her twice. Miguel didn’t really have anything. Tory is just shown be regressing, and continuing to push others away instead of leaning on them for support.
