He says that Pennywise eats fear when Pennywise clearly states that he likes the way fear makes them taste. He needs to eat them... if all he had to do was scare them he wouldn't have to physically eat them. Mary Poppins never eats a single child... PLUS the good version of Pennywise is a Turtle from outer space... Not to mention he's tying together two stories that are completely unrelated... written in different time periods by different writers and for different audiences. This is basically just fan fiction for people who don't understand how evidence works. Which really explains most of whats going on in society right now.

Pennywise usually comes back every 25 years. The reason he was gone for 27 was because he needed 2 extra years to heal after what the losers club did. It was the first time his prey actually hurt him so it took him a while to heal. So they leave for the same time. Also Pennywise came from space so they both technically come from the sky

Nah marry poppins is just one of pennywise’s many forms.
Also, Pennywises eyes are yellow when he’s about to attack or scare, but his eyes get blue sometimes to lure kids to him. Where you can best see it is when Georgie sees pennywise for the first time at the beginning (in the video it’s 1:12), his eyes are yellow then turn blue as he gets closer to Georgie to lure him into the sewers. Marry Poppins eyes are blue as well.

The only problem with the final theory is the times. Poppins takes place in the Victorian era while It is more contemporary, so despite Monsters inc proving laughter is more powerful it would seem Poppins chose to terrorize anyway. Perhaps the thing is lazy and doesn't think the extra power is worth it when terrorizing kids is so much fun.
If you know anything about Stephen King's books, they have multiple universes. Pennywise could just easily jump a universe where the Earth is still in the victorian era.

They both may share a similar weakness too. Pennywise's weakness is to be shown lack of fear toward (Chapter 1) and to be insulted which causes him to shrink (Chapter 2).
Marry Poppins on the other hand, may also be weak to things that make her feel small and powerless. She is shown to be overly confident and even full of herself. You really see this in the scene where she says she's "practically perfect in every way". It makes me wonder what would happen if someone challenged this overblown confidence of hers. Does she hold this outlook on herself to maintain the level of her powers?

@@JoelPit The Deadlights aren't literally Pennywise, they're a form of energy that's somehow related to the Beams of the Dark Tower. There are Twelve Guardians of the beams, all based on different animal forms, with The Turtle being one. We also know that Pennywise was a "Glamour" an ancient eldritch monster that fed off ancient energy from the Macroverse. It's a shapeshifter, though, which makes me think Mary Poppins is more likely not connected to Pennywise. If I had to guess, Mary Poppins would represent an air spirit or perhaps an ancient guardian spirit, like the kind that ancient families prayed to for protection and fortune. In ancient times almost every tribe had their own god or goddess protecting their area of the world against all the other pantheon of gods.
That would make Mary Poppins the literal creator of our universe and although she certainly seems powerful, she doesn't quite fit the description of one of the guardians of the Beams that hold up the Dark Tower. Richard Adams Shardik, however, would indeed fit as he's not only named by King but identified as a Bear God same as all the other guardians of the Beams.

Theory:we know that it was a being that came to earth to feed so she created her own dimension and introduced herself as the beldam or other mother to lure children. Eventually the events of coraline happen and it or the beldam is defeated and at the end she falls down the well and what if that well is connected to the dairy sewer system and coraline was in dairy. After the events of coraline it goes into the 27year cycle where the events of it and it chapter 2 happen. After the losers club defeat it it finds a new way to feed joy and goes on another cycle to feed on the joy of children and where Mary Poppins takes place and what it is doing now.
