I own this Rear Handle Makita 7 1/4 saw and It handles everything Ive thrown at it. I was new into Carpentry when I bought it as my 1st big purchase and man this was a good investment!

I currently have this makita 36v rear handle circular saw with my own personal tools at home and I have another makita 36v rear handle circular saw at work with my work tools. I’m a union journeyman carpenter for 15 years with the Hawaii carpenters union. This saw is amazing .
Got this as a birthday present. Plus Makita had a deal where I got two extra batteries for free. Cant beat that!!

@Sparky Channel. Bill . Thanks again for the video. I like how Makita kits this rear-handle saw with a dual port rapid charger. I don't see that with other companies. Those other companies make us buy their rapid chargers separately. The only thing I don't like about this saw is that Makita did not make a place on the saw to stow the wrench. Other than that, a great rear handle saw.
I changed blades on my DeWalt blade left cordless saw yesterday. You stow the wrench behind the handle and it's so handy! It makes for quick blade changing every time. Thanks!
Seriously C Adams! I don’t know what the phunk Makita was thinking?!?! 🧐😳🤷🏻♂️ I mean, how hard could it be to engineer a place for the wrench? Goes along with their antiquated thinking on Limiting the Amp Hours for their batteries. Great saw otherwise!

Hello Bill I got a question can you use a circular saw to cut EMT, IMC, and the RMC.
Yes, if you use a metal cutting blade. But it makes a lot of smoke and sparks and then you have to do a lot of work to ream the conduit.

The angle scale on this saw is way off, you can't set accurate angles.
