Today we cleaned the injectors on the first gen, the bodies were leaking. We fixed the issue by doing this so im very pleased. See yall in the next one
I know the 12v's ain't as fast and as easy to get big power out of as the common rails but I really do enjoy the simplicity, and the fact that I can personally build injectors at a fraction of the cost of common rail injectors. Great video and keep up the good work
Just installed 7x.011 P.D.D. 125hp injectors,.055 delivery valves, #6 fuel plate, new overflow flow valve in my 97 12 valve, adjusted the valves as well. Intake .07 exhaust .017..turbo comes in approx 200 rpm sooner!
Anyone have to have all this stuff left in pieces for extended time and get this all back up and running only to have it not start up the next day? Thinking all 6 injectors got stuck open meaning I'm going to have to pull all of them and get them working again.
You really didn’t need to take the injector apart if it was leaking out of the hold down nut. Just replace the copper washer and clean the hole in the head really well.
Gavin Huke interesting, that would be a new one for me. They really should have seen that when it got pop tested but glad it’s fixed!!! Every single set of aftermarket injectors I’ve installed have leaked a little from a couple holes I just torque the hold down nut to 50-55 pounds and no issue after that. I think the thin washers are part of it since they have less crush.

Axle shaft ujoints are super easy. I did both sides on a 4th gen in just under 2 hrs
You also have a shop with a lift and all the tools youd ever need, I need that in my life! Haha

I've done that 3 times now, the injector body was leaking not the washers
