No. They will not. Americans have no produced a society worth obsessing over by virtue of their society being plagued with the myths of the Enlightenment. Modern pagans have already addressed America's legacy. Rome will forever be the standard for a civilization: paganism to Eastern Orthodoxy.
ah yeah, "500 years ago we had the great empire of the United States of America. why were they a great empire? Did the majority of their citizens live in relative comfort or wealth? No, okay... did they have fair labor practices and sided with people over profit? No, okay... the amount of people living paycheck to paycheck surely was lower than 40%! oh, it was above 50%? Well, at least they had big guns and killed foreign peoples so that the wealthy corporations could have more money at the detriment of both every American citizen and every citizen of the victim countries! killing people for money means you were a great empire even if the country was held together by torn duct-tape, right?" we will not be remembered as a great empire, we will be remembered as a stepping stone
@@Darth_Barnabythis one was quite justified tbh,I think you’re referring to the Iraq war (totally unjustified).Aesthetics wise I agree with you lol,one of my favorite ones
Old? The main tank the Iraqis were using was the T-72. This is also the main tank being used by Russia in Ukraine today. The tank might be old today, but it was still a capable and standard battle tank in 1991. The Iraqis also used the Mirage F1, which was still in production at that time. Even if you want to argue that the MiG-21 was outdated by 1991, the American counterpart, the F-4, was used by the US in that war.
The military dominance of the US at this time was truly unprecedented. The USSR was crumbling and on the brink of collapse, China had not yet risen to prominence, Japan's military was still regulated to be a purely defensive force, and Europe no longer had any true superpowers. The US was not only in a class of its own, it didn't even have "near-peer adversaries" as it does today. I doubt anyone alive today will live to see another nation rise to this level of power and hegemony.

Bullets and bombers are cool, but some solid respect is DESERVED here for the flex on those Bowie knives.
This is the war they made “Jarhead” about.
Literally the jarhead cut was the standart issue
14 year olds in 500 years are going to be obsessing over the united states like we do to rome and im totally here for it
Well, at least they had big guns and killed foreign peoples so that the wealthy corporations could have more money at the detriment of both every American citizen and every citizen of the victim countries! killing people for money means you were a great empire even if the country was held together by torn duct-tape, right?"
we will not be remembered as a great empire, we will be remembered as a stepping stone

Desert Storm: 100% justified
Afghanistan War: 70% justified
Iraq invasion: 5% justified

By far my favorite war both tactically and aesthetically.
Agreed. Not exactly justified (what war is?), but very good looking aesthetically. That and soviet invasion of Afghanistan too
@@Darth_Barnabythis one was quite justified tbh,I think you’re referring to the Iraq war (totally unjustified).Aesthetics wise I agree with you lol,one of my favorite ones
I think you're confusing Desert Storm and the Invasion of Irag of 2003.
@@apollo5175 No, I'm not. I know the difference between those two wars. I like the Gulf War more than the Iraq War.
No one ever did it better
Think about it the gulf war is farther in the past than the Vietnam war was to the start of the gulf war. Time does fly.
Seeing footage of triumphant troops in 91’ is so odd considering you know what’s coming barely 10 years later and how bad it all goes.
When the oils speak Arabian, the air must speak American and if the air speak American, the trees must speak Vietnamese and...
If the trees speak Vietnamese, then the reefs must speak Chinese 😂

My grand dad was in the war in 1990-1991
Unbridled military complex vs. old-ass Soviet equipment
YIPEE WE DELIVED SOME FREEDOM!

He was definitely right about that, It was like the opposite to Vietnam

I have no idea how an actual war between NATO and the Warsaw Pact would have unfolded ... and the Gulf War is in no way a direct comparison, since it was top tier NATO forces vs second, or even third tier forces with Soviet export level equipment ... but at least it gives us a hint!
The US would've won on logistics alone. If you ever get the chance look up how soviet and now russian munitions are stored. Its a terrible system and it takes so much time to unpackage everything and load things.
Wasn't the Soviet battle plan to use tactical nuclear and chemical weapons from h-hour on?
@@mathiasbartl903 It depends. They had more than one plan.
@@mathiasbartl903 Everything goes wild when you start throwing nuclear weapons into the mix. I think the Soviets would rather use their nuclear weapons on mainland US than to use them tactically but I could be wrong I dont know Soviet doctrines.
