Happy to get positive feedback on ‘Final Girl’ as that is definitely one I kept on the back burner for the longest time. Yes! ‘DeathDream’ really is a perfect movie. When I was much younger the extreme denial showcased in that movie used to bother me haha. As you get older it’s very much easy to understand. Thanks I appreciate it!
Regarding The Case of the Bloody Iris - FINALLY. I gotta get that! I've had the Blue Underground DVD forever and couldn't figure out what took so long to get upgraded. But better late than never. I know a lot of people talk up other Edwige Fenech giallo films like The Strange Vice of Mrs Wardh and All the Colors of the Dark but I actually prefer Case of the Bloody Iris over these. Maybe I'm weird, haha.
Yeah I like all three of those but am in dire need of revisiting all three as I couldn’t tell you which one I’d rank as #1 - I need to fix that haha. Yeah, ‘Celluloid Dreams’ just knocked one out the park with this being their first collector’s edition so they’re definitely a label to watch out for!
Hi tom great pick ups! I also like some of the older films I think it's a shame that people only watch what comes out of Hollywood and ignore the earlier films. Love the shocker figure where did you get him from?
Hey thanks!! Yeah, I’d like to think it’s mostly the younger crowd that aren’t giving the early films a chance - I used to be guilty of that to a certain degree haha. About that Shocker media bust (German Blu-ray edition), yeah, I missed the pre-order for it so I bought mine through eBay.
Not sure if I like what amazon is doing with all these BD-Rs. I recently bought Sleepless Nights (vampire flick) and Chris Alexander's Werewolf Girl. Both were very reasonably priced (now I know why, haha) and was excited to buy them. A bit disappointed once I opened them and saw that infamous dark purple-blue BD-R surface (sigh) BUT if this is the ONLY way to get these films (and others) on a physical format I guess I'll take it as it's better than not having it at all (in a physical copy). And then I remember that Amazon has been doing this for a long long time. They were doing DVD-Rs (still are) and before that they even produced VHS tapes. I totally forgot about that until watching a recent update video from Mr. Parka and he mentioned it and showed one of his many titles from Amazon. The cover/case had no movie art just an amazon logo/design. They all looked the exact same except where the title of the movie was, haha. Anyways, great update (as always) and a pleasure to watch, Tom.
Ah yes I remember the MOD VHS tapes that you could order from Amazon years ago - those came packaged with generic, nearly blank, ugly green/yellow slip boxes haha. I know this because there were some documentaries I was trying to hunt down and a few of those MOD VHS editions popped up when searching… I used to collect those overly priced MOD DVD-Rs produced by Warner Brothers and Columbia Pictures sold through Amazon but stopped soon after Blu-rays for each and every one of those particular titles (the Horror ones of course), that I happen to pull the trigger on during that time all of a sudden started receiving the Blu-ray treatment haha. There’s still a good amount of titles on DVD-Rs I have in my notes as to not forget about. I was absolutely thrilled when ‘My Demon Lover’ FINALLY escaped from that MOD DVD-R list!! 💀🙏
Deathdream is excellent. Talk about a family in denial. As always great pickups. Final Girl is a hidden gem.

The dedication your content requires you is amazing, much love and support ❤
Ha! Well I’ll be damned if I allow my collection to get the best of me. Always learning never knowing it all haha. Thanks👍
