The first win of many. Pure talent, a top ten great. Doesn't matter what car, crew chief, team, rules package, or rules format. He finds a way to win. Not to mention he has been involved in more exciting finishes than probably anyone, and has just as many wild moments. (2013 Atlanta restart was probably the greatest restart of all time). Glad Kurt signed that extension
I love these classic races... thank you, NASCAR! This one made me kinda mad back in the day. Dangit - I wanted Jimmy Spencer to win this one. I knew his career was winding down and that Kurt had plenty of wins ahead of him. Oh well. Sports. **shrugs**
54:30 Good job guys, all four Hendrick drivers in the top 15. *Seconds later* GORDON IN THE WALL. As much of a broadcast jinx I've ever heard in NASCAR.
For having not watched this since it aired in 2002, I honestly enjoyed it. While the Sharipe 500 that year was more entertaining, never once did I find myself bored with this race like I do with present day Bristol. Solid race to rewatch 18 years later.
If y'all could just upload the 2002 season in its entirety, I'd be set for life. My nostalgia buzzers for the first season I ever watched in full are going wild
As bad as Tony Stewart’s back was feeling, if he got nailed from the rear end as he was coming up the track after a spin with 136 to go, Mark Martin would’ve won the 2002 Winston Cup title. Saves like that can make a big difference in winning the championship or not.
Yes a lot of them got their start as pit crew members and car chiefs and I remember all their names from back then. It's incredulous how many have worked their way up to what they are today.
2002 Food City 500 Location: Bristol, Tennessee Track: Bristol Motor Speedway Type of race track: Short Track Starting cars: 43 Finishing cars: 38 Laps: 500 Cautions: 14 Pole Winner: Jeff Gordon (24) Most laps led: Dale Earnhardt Jr. (8) (181 laps led) Race Winner: Kurt Busch (97)
Ngl this race was a fun one, but it would have been so much better if the thumbnail and title didn't spoil it hard for me. As a new fan catching every race from 2000 onwards it's really sucky to see a race for the 1st time and immediately know the winner without putting in the time. That stuff is so hard to forget
I wouldn't mind paying $9.99 a month for a NASCAR network. Much like the WWE Network. Every single race that NASCAR has footage. They can also upload like the old-school VHS releases any type of anything related NASCAR's put on TV.
A what-if race for Jeff Gordon... Had the fastest car in the race and the car unloaded on him & he crashed. He could have potentially swept Bristol that year with the cars that he had.
One... Minor request... If you are going to post the race in actual full, can you guys not lop out the pre-race show on these? Show the whole thing in full please.
Looking back I was routing for Jimmy but now idk why I was. Of course he is awesome and would have been awesome to see him win. But he was the one that got into Busch and almost made him loose it off turn 2, and all Kurt did was pay him back and he didn’t even wreck him or anything. Definitely nothing bad enough to deserve Jimmy almost killing him at Indy spun into the wall at 180 mph on the driver side. That easily could have been one of those things where one more inch either way could have killed him and for what. A disagreement on a short track where the fastest they go is 150 on the straights and 115 in the corners. Yeah like I said looking back now on all this Jimmy was actually the bad guy.

Too bad he’s always acted like a little bitch tho.
Damn that didn't take y'all long. Safe to assume we're in for a hell of an offseason with these old races being uploaded.
We just want to thank the guys back at the shop...

This one made me kinda mad back in the day. Dangit - I wanted Jimmy Spencer to win this one. I knew his career was winding down and that Kurt had plenty of wins ahead of him.
Oh well. Sports. **shrugs**
Well I wanted to win to
Excitement brought to you by, Kurt Busch...and Jimmy Spencer.
One thing I’m glad our TV coverage has done away with is missed restarts. A ton of them here missed the first lap or so
I'm glad they also eliminated the sound effects for many of the graphics.
This broadcast is lightyears better than anything that is put out today
KURT BUSCH BABY!!!!! BEEN A FAN SINCE 2002. LOVE THIS GUY 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
there is a iconic photo of Dale Jr flipping the bird at Robby Gordon at that race
Please reload the 2002 Night race, that was PURE STORY OF NASCAR!!! Appreciate this too
PLEASE upload more races from this era in full-length and full quality! Its 100x better than the old VHS capture that is already on youtube
54:30 Good job guys, all four Hendrick drivers in the top 15. *Seconds later* GORDON IN THE WALL. As much of a broadcast jinx I've ever heard in NASCAR.

2005 Daytona 500 in 16:9 HD would be GOLD! I hope NASCAR uploads that video, I know it’s in a vault somewhere.
👀
Jraybay lol

So long ago but doesn't seem that way, I remember watching this season and my god it makes me feel a bit older than I should.
Thank you Kurt for a great career!
If y'all could just upload the 2002 season in its entirety, I'd be set for life. My nostalgia buzzers for the first season I ever watched in full are going wild
Back when Bristol was Bristol. I miss it.
NASCAR uploading full, classic races? Yes please.
As a Kurt Busch fan I love seeing this
As bad as Tony Stewart’s back was feeling, if he got nailed from the rear end as he was coming up the track after a spin with 136 to go, Mark Martin would’ve won the 2002 Winston Cup title. Saves like that can make a big difference in winning the championship or not.
Loving these classic races! Would love to see the 2004 fall race from Atlanta next.
Jeff snookered Robby on that start. Haha. Remember New Hampshire 2001, Robby's first win?.
Payback is a bitch.
I love these race replays, please please upload more! Maybe ‘02 Bristol night race next?
Thank you very much!... please upload more of these classics
It's a shame Nascar can't draw a crowd like that anymore
Hearing all these crew chiefs names as small time pit crew members is amazing. Nice to see their roots.
Yes a lot of them got their start as pit crew members and car chiefs and I remember all their names from back then. It's incredulous how many have worked their way up to what they are today.
Back when Bristol seats are full unlike nowadays
I'm loving these, Do More

Robby Gordon defying the odds to fuck up the moment the race starts lol
Can you guys upload the 2005 Daytona 500 in HD next?
Y’all gonna put out anymore of these races through this channel?! Love them
2:05:58 How did Park get his nose bashed in like that? He didn't have that damage in the replay
Jesse Mullen 1:45:52, gets into Robby Gordon reacting to the Sadler crash

Those stands!!

What are the songs at 11:00 and 1:09:50?
good grief those crowds..
2:37:28
Turned out Spencer only had *one* other top 5 all season long.
He might've just jinxed himself here.
Kurt muscles Spencer.
NASCAR should do that with more old races...
Thank you!!!!
Old Bristol was way better.
my boy casey atwood last car on the lead lap!
Gordon had the car to win this race. He won the fall race though
Trick from eliot saddler '01 food city 500 kurt busch was nice !
Can you upload the 2012 Bank of America 500 by any chance
Why is it so blurry when I stream to my tv? Is it because of the aspect ratio?
If Bristol Spring Race is too cold and rain move to Mother Day Weekends and become Saturday Night Race in Bristol Spring Race
please upload the last race at Riverside!!
Ok, this is epic.
Thank u NASCAR
More classics like talladega and Daytona races
Ngl this race was a fun one, but it would have been so much better if the thumbnail and title didn't spoil it hard for me. What about the old onboards for bristol
It’s sad. It was so full then around 2012 it just got so empty. Smh
More please!!!
I wonder who is going to win, thanks nascar
Do Darlington 2003 next
Back when Nascar was actually good. My how the mighty has fallen
Truth on that
I wouldn't mind paying $9.99 a month for a NASCAR network. Much like the WWE Network. Every single race that NASCAR has footage. They can also upload like the old-school VHS releases any type of anything related NASCAR's put on TV.
Shhhhh don't give them any ideas
A what-if race for Jeff Gordon...

He could have potentially swept Bristol that year with the cars that he had.
Do the 2004 night race
Please upload more old races.. including the 2001 Daytona 500.
One of the very few times I remember seeing Jeff just lose it in a race
I never liked the new Bristol pit road, I liked the old pit road better. It just became confusing for the drivers.
I was here 😊
One... Minor request...
If you are going to post the race in actual full, can you guys not lop out the pre-race show on these?
Show the whole thing in full please.
Bristol right now is better than old Bristol. Change my mind.
Great !
